☁ Pierce wasn’t the biggest fan of Halloween - the history, behind it was kind of dumb in his opinion. Ghosts and “spirits” weren’t evil, threatening beings in need of appeasement, in his experience. The dead were just about the same as the living, if not a bit wiser and more thoughtful. At least, most were- Pierce had a feeling individuals like Jerseyboy wouldn’t be quite so benign and kindly if they had the chance to return as ghosts. That was another thing- not everyone came back in the same way, if at all. Whoever had invented the holiday - humans, he supposed - seemingly knew very little about death and the possible afterlife, which was a bit bothersome, but Pierce really didn’t care much for the modern holiday, either. All the dressing up and candy was nice, but haunted houses, scary themes, dark colors? He didn’t get it. Maybe he was just slow and boring, though.
Despite his mild distaste for the holiday and its origins, he was happy to see his clanmates getting festive about anything, and he was sort of looking forward to getting to paint his face and give out candy. Carving pumpkins seemed fun, too, though a bit physically demanding.
Meandering over next, the serval peered at the variously colored and shaped gourds Marina had collected, a kindly smile on his face. "This looks fun, M!" he purred, amber gaze flicking up to make eye contact with the Helion. "You might have to show me how to do this, though." He’d experienced two Halloweens before this, and still he had no idea how to do this- though he figured he could excuse his first Halloween with the fact that he had been a housepet at the time.
