is someone else in me,
waiting to break free?

The weather was slowly getting colder and Atbash was slightly worried about how things were going to go on with Snowbound. While they weren't very busy, they were still recovering from The Pitt's takeover and with the winter months, it could mean prey and herbs would be more scarce. Hopefully nobody became sick, because they didn't have an official Frosthealer (although they did have a few with the Evergreen title). But that wasn't something she needed to worry about right now; she had a meeting to start. Atbash exited her cabin and made her way towards the large cabin at the edge of camp, trying to call out to her tribemates in a telepathic voice, "Snowbound, gather around for a meeting!"

The Hailcaller worked on getting hot chocolate made in the Banquet Hall as she waited for her tribemates to appear. Once everyone got settled, the she-cat began passing out the cups of hot cocoa. "It's starting to get chilly," She mused, as if trying to get a joke out. "I figured it'd be best if we had some hot chocolate while we wait here." Soon, with the winter months approaching, it was likely the fireplace needed to be lit, or get blankets for everybody. "Anyway," She went on quickly, settling down and looking across the room. "We don't have any joiners this week, although Val is visiting for a while. Please make him feel as welcome as he would be if he joined us." They hadn't had visitors in a while, she was honestly happy that Val was (at least temporarily) staying with them.

"I don't have any demotions this week, but I would like to give out a small warning to Nui and Dimitri. Dimitri has notified me of why he wasn't going to be around for a while, however I still need both of you guys around as much as possible." Atbash stated, flicking her tail. "I don't have any promotions this week, unfortunately, but I would like to thank everyone for staying around despite the hardships we experienced lately." The savannah let out a little laugh. Why would anyone want to stay in Snowbound, despite it being clear that she was a horrible leader?

Stop. This wasn't the time for those thoughts. Atbash quickly focused on the meeting again, mentally shaking her head before she continued on, "We still have the festival going on, so try checking that out once you get the chance!" She chirped. "I could also still use some Ambassadors for our allies, if anybody would be willing to visit either The Ascendants or Sunhaven once a week." Was that all? She supposed so. "If nobody has anything to add, then meeting dismissed."

- It's slowly starting to get colder, so Atbash passed out hot chocolate to everyone!

the warmth of the hot cocoa soothes them more than anything. it is their last defense against the frigid air, and she takes the liberty in suckling at the warm drink that fends away the frost settling around her body, reveling in the warm heat that fills her belly and curdles deep within her gut.

tentative ears are pricked with lazy indifference-- there is not much to announce once more, as there always has been. snowbound has been dwindling. the snowbounders are dwindling, growing sluggish. they've gone quiet like the snow that blankets their home, and this time nui wonders if snowbound will able to survive long in this state.

she is no better in terms of activity, either. the icestriker needs to step up her game-- the rabbit has gotten slow, lazy. she hates the boredom-- it makes her teeth itch with the fiendish urge to do something absolutely bad. to make things more interesting.

a bored nui is a menacing thing.

the meeting was brief-- a small blessing. nui never had much patience for anything, really. she can never sit or stay still for long, even for things that need her upmost attention.

she nods her acknowledgement, sipping on the cocoa all the while as steam lazily drifts from it's surface and curls lazily before her pink, sensitive little nose. she gives a pearly smile that exposes her hidden buck teeth.

"noted, madam! i'll step it up, just for you."
