It was a miracle that Boy was out of the house. It saved him from having to experience... whatever Kold was going through. A pot broke as she slapped her blackened paw into it, a cry leaving her boxy muzzle. Whatever injuries she had endured from the event were healing on their own, she did not want anyone seeing her like this. Blinds were closed and doors locked. Electricity crackled from her feet, scattering across the stone floor of her bedroom. It hopped around in her lungs, danced in her ears, pranced around her body as she threw whatever she could find around. Tears made her black eyes glassy.
It wasn't fair, the cards either sibling had been dealt. But his was far worse - somehow she had been, within reason, okay despite everything that happened with their mother. A sob ripped from her throat, tearing up the blanket that was resting on her bed. Fury, anger, and dread twisted her face into a horrid snarl, tears threatening to spill. It wasn't fair. Not fair. Not fair. He didn't deserve it - he didn't deserve anything that had happened to him. The wings, the truth, the sickness.
It wasn't really a sickness, she reasoned for a second. But it was -- it sickened the body and poisoned the mind. But how was she not sick? If their mother was, and if he was, how come she was lucky? She hated it. Hate. Hate. Hate. Hate. Hated it. Hated how he was in her shadow, how she seemed to outshine him. Hate. Hate. Hated how she got away with little issues and he was succumbing to the same ailment their mother was. Hate. Hate.
Her muscles tensed and she crashed to the floor, jaws thrashing as she did so. A horrid noise left her as her entire body shook. Electricity crackled around her, scattering up walls and across floors in a discharge of power. The saliva pooled in her mouth and flooded it, falling out in thick blobs of black. Her tongue tasted metallic. Claws scrabbled on the floor as her legs moved and yet her body did not.
As the energy winded down, and as she relaxed, another wave of emotion hit her and she whirled around, jaws open and snapping at anything close. Which just so happened to be her leg. She bit down, hardly feeling the pain as she kept tightening the grasp. She stopped, but stayed with her teeth in her own flesh and muscle. Tears finally fell from her eyes, staining her face.
Footsteps sounded from outside, though she could not will herself to move or say anything. She couldn't discern the size of the animal. Her hearing was muddled by the sound of her blood rushing. She just laid there, curled up with her teeth sunken into her leg. Wings splayed out, faint electric shocks leaving her.
// Permission for anyone to enter her house to check up on her -- i actually encourage it lmao //
