ATBASH CIPHER
everything's just come together at last !
After she had been brought to Moth and had healed enough, Atbash had requested to stay home instead of the Reaper's home. Fortunately, Moth allowed her to do so, though given that Atbash had made her home in town, maybe it was just a tad bit easier for Moth to travel if something came up. Her home was just a lot more soothing and she was grateful that Moth allowed her to rest at home, rather than in the place where all the medicine was and the scents made her feel light-headed.
Atbash had settled into her home, though she made a separate little moss bed for her while her injury was still healing. The wound would definitely scar up, no doubt about that, and it made it hard for her to talk at the moment. Fortunately, she could speak telepathically, but she didn't particularly like doing that. Reaching out and talking to people through their mind didn't require a lot of probing, but she still didn't like how she was almost forced to do it. At least, until she healed enough to be able to talk properly. Will I even be able to talk again? Gods, she hoped so. It would be pathetic if she couldn't.
But ironically, the worst of it all was the scar that Caesar had clawed into her forehead. Eyes were extremely important to dream demons, as funny as it was, considering their specialty being the mind. The fact that Atbash only had one eye taken out was an insult to her as a person, but Caesar only added more insult to that disfigurement by giving her a brand that was seemingly only to mock her for the loss.
Atbash's ears pricked as she heard her door open, her eye widening for a moment before she raised a forearm to her head, hiding the scar underneath a paw.
