DEAR FRIEND as you know, your flowers are withering
your mother's gone insane, your leaves have drifted away.
but the clouds are clearing up
and i've come reveling, burning incandescently,
like a bastard on the burning sea.

There was a few things Goldie could find solace in, despite everything, and she felt a silent obligation to hold onto them, do something with them whenever she could. Her family, though she could not do much for at the moment, besides stay out of their way, continue resting for her own and their sakes. There were others who'd claimed to be her friends before, though they were kind of in the same position. There were a few, still though, she felt less expectations from, like the need to be who they wanted was not present there. At least, not aggressively. Sophiea had been one in particular she'd found herself gladly spending time with, no strings attached. And she was grateful for it. When she'd learned the female's favorite tea set had been broken, along with the fact her birthday was here, the tigress decided she should take the time to find a proper present. Where she'd get what she had in mind, however, she wasn't certain.
Her first idea, however, wasn't a bad one she thinks. It only made sense for her to think of going to Roxanne and Diya first, given the two were her main caretakers with all of this aside from Roan. And Diya, at least, seemed the type to have a fancy tea set just sitting around. So, the female would approach the two's shared home quietly, head held low as she stepped on their porch, gently using her paw to knock on the door. Whether either would be home, she wasn't sure, but she hoped someone would be. She wasn't very interested in the idea of going on a wild goose chase after still recovering.

NOTHING'S EVER LOST FOREVER, IT'S JUST HIDING IN THE RECESS OF YOUR MIND AND WHEN YOU NEED IT, IT WILL COME TO YOU AT NIGHT. I MISS THE YELLOW. I MISS THE YELLING AND THE SHAKEDOWN. I'M NOT COMPLAINING, NO, I GOT A BETTER SET OF KNIVES NOW. I MISS MY DRUMMER, MY DEAD STEPBROTHER, AND THE PIT CROWD. AND CHUCK AND MATTY - IF THEY COULD SEE ME THEY'D BE SO PROUD.
