lovekit — the typhoon — tags
On some level, Lovekit had already introduced himself to the Typhoon as a whole, just by being around. After all, the boy had a tendency to follow along with whatever his siblings were doing, and he had ventured outside of his family home more than a few times. Despite this, he didn't know too many of the other members of the pirate group he considered to be family, and that just wouldn't do, obviously. However, the child didn't just want to go out there and say his name and give a usual introduction. That would be boring, and the hybrid would've hated to be thought of as boring by the rest of his crewmates. Which left Lovekit a bit stumped, since that meant he needed to find some way to introduce himself that was creative, and fun, and would probably net him some friends, obviously. Not that he wasn't happy with Harlow and Lawkit for friends, but it would've been a bit depressing, having his only two friends in the world be his two siblings. So, he had set out to try and find something creative that he could do.
Thankfully, Lo was either extraordinarily lucky, or he just knew very well how to find things that were exciting. It wasn't long until the child's aimless wandering had brought him to the shop of one of the group's tattoo artists, who seemed pleasantly surprised and amused when the boy had come trotting up. Obviously the older artist hadn't been willing to tattoo someone so young, but when he had seen Lovekit's fascination with the various paints and pigments he had been using, an idea had begun to form. It wasn't long until the tiger-doberman hybrid found himself leaving again, but this time he had something with him – a bucket of paint. Easily washable paint that was very much temporary, but paint nonetheless. Which meant that he now had a way to both introduce himself to others and do something neat for them. Plus, nobody would get too angry with him if he messed up a particular design, considering they could just wash it out afterwards. It was a foolproof plan, and Lovekit found himself smirking as he carried the bucket and accompanying brush out with him to middle of town.
He was vaguely aware of the fact that the tavern was nearby, which was a good thing for him, since it meant that there would be more people traveling past who could hear him. Which meant more people to meet him, as well. Short tail wagging enthusiastically against the sandy ground behind him, Lovekit put the bucket down nearby before he called out, "Who would like to come and meet me? You can introduce yourself and get a temporary tattoo from me, at the same time. It'll be great!" He knew of some who would already know him, such as his great aunt, siblings, and cousins, but there were plenty of others that were still a mystery to the young boy.
