2D couldn't truly remember the last time that he had felt so comfortable. After around a month of constantly traveling from place to place with the companionship of Murdoc, it had become rare for the serval to let himself relax anywhere they went. Part of that was just because he didn't want to get attached, while part of it was because 2D was always somewhat sure that Murdoc was going to piss whoever they were staying with off before too long. He may have enjoyed the canine's company – to a certain extent – but it was hard for even someone as thick as 2D not to see when a group was beginning to grow annoyed by their presence. He was honestly surprised that it hadn't happened with Elysium yet, despite the fact that they had only been within the mountain dwelling group a few days. However, despite his surprise, the serval had every intention of enjoying things to the fullest within Elysium, at least until they were forced to leave again. Or until Murdoc decided he wanted to up and go somewhere.

Unfortunately, even with his intention to enjoy himself to the fullest within Elysium, 2D hadn't been having the greatest of days. The black eyed, blue furred male had woken up to yet another of his usual headaches, groaning as he pushed himself up to his paws. He could only pray that it didn't end up developing into a full grown migraine. Searching around for the poppy seeds he had stashed away before chewing on them, hoping it would ease the pain somewhat. After that, he blinked bleary black eyes and headed out, shaking out his fur as he left his floating house. He could feel a wave of drowsiness and haze pass over him as he headed for the more snowy areas of the territory, but he ignored it, determined to try and find some food for himself. He had never been the greatest at hunting, on account of his clumsiness and poor vision, but he could at least catch himself something, right? However, the serval's impromptu hunting trip was brought to an end when he heard a branch snap nearby. He had been standing in the snow, trying to think of where to go, but when he heard the soft crack from nearby, he whipped around, practically jumping out of his own skin, "Wh... What? Who's fere? I'll scratch you!"
