" do you want to burn in hell with me? "

their life had been anything but calm, cool and collected, least of all since he had died, their one and only mate. the one that they shared their heart with, with which everything would have been shared, including the joy of their daughter's life. yet all of this had been ripped from them and cruelly turned away in a single letter that they had long been unable to forget about.
today being the anniversary of the day that their world was ripped apart, bai shi would wander into the neutral grounds, on their own journey to a field of sunflowers where graves had been dug and cairns built for the dead that they had lost, and those who had gone missing. in their fox body, the ancient being curled their body upon one old grave, head resting against the cairn, grief in their core as they let blind eyes fill with tears, seeking some sort of rest, and finally finding it upon Astéri's grave.
eyes opening, they found that time had passed, yet they were calm, calmer than they had been before they had fallen asleep. unfurling slightly, the fox would let their body change, going back to their dragon form, surprised by the fact that they could see here and now. they could scent a familiar scent, one that sent their heart racing and looking for the black furred body of their mate eagerly. they slowly realized that this was their dream, but they really just needed to see him and spend time with him again even through their dreams. "astro, please show yourself, chickadee?"
