[div style="margin: 0 auto; width: 70%; text-align: justify;"]He had never been as tall as he had hoped and prayed to be. Being like the others in his former gang had been his ultimate goal. By the time had stopped growing was he taunted quit a bit. Though, the tiger was not petite nor a runt, he was still a bit sensitive about the topic. Even so, what he lacked in height did he make up for in his lean build. He was an endurance guy, through and through. Apart of him held a sense of pleasure deep down in his chest about the idea of him being the only... Intact member of his gang. Many were killed, some left mutilated and handicapped. The last member of the gang he had seen had been his uncle, a nasty old bastard who died scrutinizing every flaw and mistake the tiger had ever made. Leander made sure to spit on his grave, and he never once regretted the act.
This territory was a somewhat familiar sight to him: Desolate, unforgiving, and ugly. Sure, he found the oasis to be a nice spot, but everything else was all the same in his eyes. He was caught up in the question of whether this place was just another gang or, to be put in a more lax concept, a state. Apart of him knew the answer, but he was unsure about how he felt picking up that lifestyle again. Leander held no loyalty to his former group, and he doubted he would ever find loyalty here. He despised living this life. Jaws agape as he panted for air, the tiger sauntered across the sand dunes, searching for some notable landmarks that had been mentioned to him. His eyes drew over the sky, squinting in an attempt to block out the sunlight.
