[div style="background-color: #292727; color: white; font-family: arial; font-size: 12px; letter-spacing: 1px; text-align: justify; overflow: auto; width: 500px; height: 340px; padding: 10px;"]It was a couple hours after the meeting that Sephiroth finally decided to step out and get fresh air to clear his head.  The changes he had implemented, his sudden ripping into his own paw on some sort of violent impulse that had healed over, everything he had to do as lord took it out of him.  He searched mentally for the voice he had heard the other day over and over, but it wore him out and he found nothing.  His lack of answers frustrated him, and he needed to clear his head before he broke something else.

The rains of the season had paused for a little while as Sephiroth slipped out of the ruins and padded through the heavy foliage of the jungle.  He reached the edge, where green gave way to orange sands beyond.  The pale beast would sit down, resting his hindquarters and looking up at the sky. It was a rare cloudless night, stars dotting the sky as a chilly breeze barely ruffled his immaculately kept mane.  There was something his chest he longed for as he gazed up at the emptiness with unblinking blue green pools for eyes.  This sort of emotion was foreign to his as most seemed to be.  He was used to being in control, being above.  It was the same sort of emotion he felt the other day, before the voice murmured to him promises and gave him purpose.  The male lion found himself aching for it once more.

There is no need to feel alone, son.  A God does not feel lonely, for they have all they need at their fingertips.  You are above loneliness.  That, and so long as I am at your side you are not alone.  Remember that.

There it was, the voice that came to him as soon as he opened up his mind just the slightest bit.  Promising again, speaking to him in a voice that made him feel…secure.  Above.  Confident once more.  Sephiroth felt his form relax as he stared up at the sky with his eyes widening, his slitted pupils dilating the tiniest bit as he sat alone with his thoughts and the echoes of that voice only he could hear in his head.  It was the voice he longed for, someone soothing and validating, the voice of a…
