✦ GIVE ME REASONS WE SHOULD BE COMPLETE. YOU SHOULD BE WITH HIM, I CAN'T COMPETE. YOU LOOKED AT ME LIKE I WAS SOMEONE ELSE, OH WELL CAN'T YOU SEE? I DON'T WANNA SLOW DANCE IN THE DARK! —
What was he doing here? It was question Haru had asked himself multiple times over the course of his journey, uncertainity always hanging in the back of his mind and resurfacing whenever it got the chance. As for the answer- he really didn’t know. He was trying to escape his past, to forget all the heartbreak he had gone through and start again but... the shiba wasn’t sure if this would even work out. What if... he was making a huge mistake?
Then again, there was no one left for him back home. Haru’s family was long gone and he didn’t want to see his past lovers, knowing it would only lead to his heart being broken for the hundredth time. It wasn’t like his exes or his family cared for him anyways- they only looked out for themselves.
Padding through the trees, a plume of smoke would rise from the male’s mouth, a cigarette hangly loosely from one side of his jaws. Haru was well award that smoking was probably the worst habit he could have but he didn’t do it very often. Besides, dogs didn’t have the longest lifespan anyways- a little smoke here and there didn’t matter. Eventually, the black and tan shiba arrived at Sunhaven’s border, the cigarette having been put out several feet ago and buried in the dirt. Haru had no idea what Sunhaven was like, having only asked for directions and nothing more from a passing loner. Taking a deep breath and clearing his throat, he would call out to anyone nearby. "Hey, my name is Haru. I’m here to join Sunhaven- if that’s ok." With that, he fell silent once more, face blank as he waited for a response.
