.*✧ cat/dragon hybrid; externally, primarily feline
tokoroa's most eye-catching feature lies not in his surprising height but in the filmlike wings loosely flattened against his body, almost large enough to drape against the ground, with a ridged backbone but the flesh of the wings themselves delicate, vaguely translucent and thin like a membrane. he appears a towering, long feline though soft around the tummy, fur dark and tinting cerulean in the sunlight, but particularly at night the tiny prismatic specks of scales scattered throughout his fur gleam. the other more striking feature he possesses is scarcely seen, but not for any obscure reason - merely because they're scarcely open, lazy angular eyes bearing intense light blue irises with slit pupils surrounded with silver. he may be tall, but his hazy slouch gives observers secondhand back pain. tokoroa sleeps with his nose poking out, even when curled up.

.*✧ almost perpetually asleep, or dozing off, or not paying attention; not entirely involuntary, as with narcolepsy, but with time he's seeming to approach that stage. he couldn't last without getting eight hours of naptime, on top of actual sleep.

.*✧ tokoroa has his own sense of personal space, and gets particularly antsy when others get too close to whatever he considers his, but so long as no actual attempts are made at his rock tokoroa is for the most part wholly unbothered by physical proximity. comfortably tucks himself into a tinier ball to just fit on nik's back.
.*✧ cannot read. one of his pastimes is watching nik log the things they've come across on their trip, and they've seen many things - one of his favourite things is hazily watching the world go by through half-open eyes, watching nik's little wings flutter, hearing the hum of his friend's chatter.
.*✧ with all his sleep, has very vivid dreams. those that make the most frequent appearances are nik, the rest of his family, and his rock.

.*✧ cannot be intimidated. nothing bothers him, except when his things are touched. altogether that's the only thing that makes him react.
.*✧ when he's not in deep sleep, but napping, his wings flutter of their own volition sometimes.
