goldenluxury "goldie" roux — female — the typhoon — tags
goldie has recently given out a lot of presents. what happens when she finds a present in the front of her home and it's meant for her but who it's from is unknown?
the girl looked in front of her quietly, lynn sitting quietly on her hind. a little blue box, carefully wrapped in a bow sat in front of the submarine. she searched over it, blinking quietly with curiosity. it was addressed to her, but there was no indication of who it was from. perhaps they had forgotten to write down their name? she frowned slightly, trying to find some sort of clue of who gave this to her but could find nothing.
she wanted to find who had given her this before she opened it, though. she would need to thank them properly, after all. so, the girl picked up the present carefully and would walk about the island, asking others if they knew who gave this to her, but none seemed to have a clue, either. she spent a couple hours at these attempts, feeling frustrated as more and more crewmates didn't know. she shouldn't be able to accept a gift without being able to thank whoever gave it to her!
but, it became clear that she was getting nowhere, and her curiosity was rising. she wanted to know what it was. so, the young girl finally sat down on the beach and decided to open it, feeling slightly guilty for doing so. she carefully untied the bow and opened the box, peering inside. there was nothing else that could indicate who it was from inside. there was only one thing inside the box.
she pulled it out very carefully, looking it over. it was a small, wooden toy sailboat. her expression turned to a mixture of surprise and curiosity. her green eyes appeared thoughtful as she looked over it, a small smile forming upon her features. lynn sat next to her, the harpy eagle tilting his head slightly towards it. she honestly liked it quite a lot. she wanted to find out who had given it to her so badly.

NOTHING'S EVER LOST FOREVER, IT'S JUST HIDING IN THE RECESS OF YOUR MIND AND WHEN YOU NEED IT, IT WILL COME TO YOU AT NIGHT. I MISS THE YELLOW. I MISS THE YELLING AND THE SHAKEDOWN. I'M NOT COMPLAINING, NO, I GOT A BETTER SET OF KNIVES NOW. I MISS MY DRUMMER, MY DEAD STEPBROTHER, AND THE PIT CROWD. AND CHUCK AND MATTY - IF THEY COULD SEE ME THEY'D BE SO PROUD.
