domestic feline — birth body 0% health; dead
at birth pey was a brown tabby cat with white paws and a white muzzle. having a lean build and a body meant for endurance, not brute force, they were always a lanky child that never quite grew into their paws. unfortunately around the age of ten months they were killed by a hypothermia after getting lost during a winter hunt without a mentor.
manticore — shift body 90% health
two years later, peytriviing is reborn as a full grown manticore with light pink eyes. they are no larger than a lion, both in bulk and height. their fur is a deep rich red with darker stripes lining their back legs. as those in myth, pey has a scorpions tail fit to the size of their body. it's fit with a stinger and all (watch out!) and is their last line of defense. the stingers venom is capable or temporary paralysis in animals the size of a greyhound and smaller. otherwise, it can cause dizziness, nausea, and inflammation for larger species.
aside from the usual flowing mane, pey also has two piercing horns growing from their head, sticking about a full foot upward and twisting into a point. on their back is a powerful set of wings capable of lifting them into their air with a simple jump. their wingspan reaches to about ten feet (304 cm) and is the same shade of red as the stripes on their legs and coloration of their horns.
