Yes. Absolutely.
Vandal surges forward then, pressing the side of her head against Deldrach's in a show of tenderness, affection - cheek to cheek, tears mixing together, breath deep and shaking and relieved and tired all at once. She moves, runs her tongue quickly against the other's jaw in reassurance; a light, soft, fleeting kiss. "Thank you, Deldrach." Her whisper dances in the air, and she's pulling the jaglion to her chest all over again, nose buried in the space between Deldrach's ears and breathing in her familiar scent.
Home.
She never thought she'd be here - she never thought they'd come to this but they have, and Vandal can feel the emotion swelling in her heart that it fills her with light she never thought she'd get to see again. It's moving through her veins, into every nook and cranny of her existence, every inch of her being until she's nearly seeing stars behind her eyelids.
Is this what home feels like?
Vandal feels complete. A soft, breathless laugh bubbles into her chest at the purity of it all. She buries deeper, placing one last, tender kiss on Deldrach's forehead before stepping back to look at her. "Gods, I should - it's late - you should sleep, but I want us to have breakfast in the morning. I can cook, y'know, and then we can eat by the beach, yeah? What's your favorite meal in the world?" Her voice dances with excitement, thick and light and gossamer. If she's going to do this, she's going to do it right.
