He was lost again. Bark gave way beneath his claws as Luca scrambled up a tree, coming to rest on the nearest branch he could. He noted how much easier it was to climb in his old feline body, staring with a frown at the ground. The tree swayed and his wings flared out for balance, although he didn't quite think to use them properly. Luca started making the trek to the next branch, huffing a little with the effort of pulling himself upwards. Unfortunately, he wasn't very experienced with climbing trees, and therefore didn't pick the best route for climbing. The branch gave way beneath his paws right as he pulled himself onto it, sending the canine tumbling to the ground. He landed with a solid thud, a soft whine tearing itself from his throat. He didn't mind pain, sure, but he hated being injured. Thankfully his delicate wings seemed bruised instead of broken, and he curled up a little to nurse them and check for fractures.
