[div style="text-align: justify;"]In hind sight, perhaps it hadn't been the smartest idea to try flying before his wing had fully healed. Really, Joel should have listened to the medics and just stayed in his room to allow his limb to heal. Thinking back on the incident, he wasn't sure why he had done it. Was it the desire to fly again so strong he just had to try or was it his own stupidity that drove him forward? He just... didn't know. Now, as the wolf lay in the main part of the observatory, he let out a sigh, closing the book he had been reading and putting his head down on his paws. The stinging of his injuries was hard to ignore- even after reading for a while. He just couldn't wait until the herbs kicked in, then he wouldn't have to feel this way, for a few hours at least.
