It had taken a few days, which made sense since it was a big ass structure with two stories. But she was quite happy with the construction, however rushed she was to start it. The final touches were being put on the building itself -- things to make it homely or double checking to make sure the building was stable, making sure things were right. But Kold put it upon herself to check each part of the interior. The main hall, the spare rooms, the upstairs. All of it.
The main hall was big enough to house several big animals like Olalla or Chernabog, with enough room to spare for smaller creatures. It was lit by lanterns and candle light were applicable. Compared to Kold, it was massive. Which suited her just fine. More room for the homeless and new joiners in the future. Doorways on either side led to storerooms to be used for goods for trading or simply storing for winter's use. They could also be used to house animals. A door all the way at the back led to the stairway. Kold ascended it with little issue. Good.
The second floor was mainly for a recreational spot -- smaller width than the first floor but just as long. The very end, above the first story's doorway, there was a balcony. Kold wanted to test this spot specifically, to make sure it could hold her weight and the subsequent weight of whoever would wish to sit there. She took purposeful steps on the flooring, making sure nothing gave in or buckled as she went.
As she entered the balcony, she tested her weight and was pleased to find that nothing was buckling. She trailed her body along the railing, leaning against it sometimes to see if it would give. Pleased with her findings, she started to head back downstairs, testing things as she went. And as she exited the building, she grinned. "Almost done, I think." She mused, then started to walk outside the building to watch and observe the working groups, providing aid where possible.
