// due to irl stuff, this is a little late, but this event would be taking place on the day of the summer solstice (june 21)!!!
The growth of a clan was nothing exponential at the very beginning. Even after the passing of these last few months, the Enclave's numbers were understandably few — at least, in comparison to the sprawling communities he had encountered upon his peaceful visits to the Typhoon and Tanglewood. As such, many of the Enclave's traditions would start equally small to better accommodate their ranks, which he was perfectly content with. The Summer Solstice Festival would conduct as usual, though the Enclavian Olympics would be spared for another summer season once they had better settled into the Island and affiliated themselves with other groups. It was, of course, to be a massive event, and one they could not afford at their current size.
Still, Maximilian was hard at work gathering volunteers to organize the Summer Solstice Festival, which took place in the heart of the Enclave's camp. The Mess Hall was adorned with all shades of yellow and orange, with vibrant ribbons and banners along the wooden beams and pillars that gave the towering wooden building its sturdy structure. In the coolness of the Mess Hall, some musically inclined Enclavians took to their own instruments, performing for all who wished to hear them. Tables with white cloth spread upon them lay on one of the walls, offering a great assortment of freshly-hunted and prepared boar, pheasant, rabbit, and other prey native to the forest, alongside vegetarian options and a variety of desserts.
Outside the Mess Hall, the Fire Pit held bonfire, and several tables were set up a bit further beyond the benches with all sorts of cards and board games. Maximilian sat upon a bench, watching the fire crackle before him. The billowing tower of smoke and flames beckoned for all in their cabins to come out and celebrate the beginning of summer and their first season spent together.
