the reptile made hisway to the border. tongue flicking from his maw as he looked out over the lands. he was seeking a new home. this place seemed nice, but that tongue flick told him a group lived here. so, he decided to wait. perhaps they would take him in. after all, he was a skilled fighter. so, why not. it was all a matter of time for the komodo dragon.

From up in the tropical jungle canopy, Rosemary knelt into a hunter’s crouch. “Greetings. What is your name and purpose for venturing to the Typhoon’s islands?” Her voice carried no warmth, and her four eyes zeroed in on the komodo dragon. She hoped this stranger didn’t bring trouble; the witch had little patience for outsider’s problems.

Up next without fail was Shinigami. Her eyes twinkled thoughtfully as she looked at the Komodo Dragon, admittedly a bit taken aback. First, she had met an ocelot who had extra eyes, and now a sentient reptile was upon the border? Sure, she questioned her own appearance at times, but not to the degree this was making her question it! She was at least, by most standards, an average wolf. Other than the vibrant purple hue of her pelt along with the other colors of pink and cream splattered amongst her, she was natural.

But was it natural to be a reptile in a land full of canines and felines?

As she awaited a response from the newcomer, Shinigami sat and curled a fluffy tail around her paws with ease.

"TALKING"

the male looked up at the one to greet him. tongue flicking out to take in the scent of the stranger. her questions would make him ponder. was he really doing this? yes. he felt like it. "hmm. my name is alphonse. i came to join your ranks. there is a group here, i assume."

he stated more than asked the last bit. his gaze shifting to the wolf next. letting himself scan the creature of strange colors. she was silent, but interesting none the less.
