She was here.

The wolf had been venturing throughout the lands for awhile, wondering when she may finally arrive amongst her group. Her mind had been set on where she wanted to go, and she fully intended on getting there and making her mark. Even though she doubted she would see her family here, the Sakigami sibling was dead set on achieving something in her lifetime. After all, she had to leave something behind to make everyone remember their name.

The smooth ombré upon her legs came into view as she took each step, her lips pursing into a neat grin as her ears twitched. She would be the best person here, and she was sure of it.

Rosemary’s paws deftly traversed the solid tree branch. The ocelot enjoyed climbing, and with her species’ natural talent and her own air elemental, she felt more at home in the trees than on the ground. But this might’ve looked strange to a wolf, to see a four-eyed cat looking down from such a perch.

“Hello. You’re on Typhoon’s territory.” The witch’s flat voice carried no emotion, while her four eyes split into two pairs as she studied the ombre wolf. “What is your name and purpose for venturing here?”

Her forked tail flicked. Rosemary wasn’t the warmest person in the Typhoon—she usually warmed up to her crewmates with time—especially to outsiders. Strangers had a nasty habit of bringing problems on their back whenever they visited the islands.

Indeed, it was very odd to see an ocelot up in a tree. Not to mention the four eyes part? Although, this creature greatly intrigued Shinigami. How could someone wander around with four eyes, in the body of a simple ocelot no less! Wonder could be viewed upon her face for a moment as the canine investigated. Then, peace.

“I am Shinigami Sakigami. I’d like to join.”

The ocelot tilted her head. People often stared at her four eyes, but she was more curious about the woman’s family than her reaction. She’d never heard of the Sakigami’s, but, then, many outside of the Typhoon likely hadn’t heard of hers. “Welcome to the Typhoon, then. I’m Rosemary Roux. If you have an injury or illness, come find me at the temple.”

Her two tail-tips curled. “Hmm, take your time exploring the islands and getting acquainted with everyone. You might want to do the Entrance Ritual or Division Ceremony once you’re settled in, but both of those traditions are optional.”

A quaint smirk fills her face as Rosemary speaks. She is welcomed in, and thus, more than comfortable overstepping into the territory. Lashing a bright hued tail, Shinigami would turn and look to the strange ocelot to listen further. They had traditions for newcomers, eh? Well, she supposed she should follow along for their sake.

“Will do, thank you.”
