He had students again. It was a bit of a surreal realization to hit the soothsayer that day, considering it had been a whole since he had actually had students. Technically, his last actual apprentice had been Lawkit, and that hadn't exactly lasted for long. Rosemary had also technically counted as his "apprentice," but it wasn't as if she had much to learn. She had mainly only been in the position to see how well she did being back, and he had no doubt she would've been a soothsayer alongside him before long. Well... if she hadn't stepped down, anyways. That particular announcement had certainly stung, but it wasn't as if Roan couldn't handle it – couldn't understand. Being a medic was a stressful job, and his aunt had never particularly enjoyed leaving her house all that much. It was only natural for her to step down and go back to where she could be comfortable. He could only hope and pray that the same wouldn't happen with Goldie and Seabound – and that he could be a good teacher to them both.
While he usually would've just waited for the other to approach him, the draconic feline figured he could get a bit of a headstart on Sea's training. So, he had gathered up a few bundles of various herbs and stuffed them in his satchel, slipping the strap over his body as usual. He then headed out of the temple, taking in a deep breath of the fresh air before he took off into the sky. Roan would've made a walk of it, but... his muscles were still aching a bit from his recent running escapades, and he figured he and Sea could walk and talk anyways. It was because of this that he saw no problem with flying over to the other's home, only eventually coming to a landing once he reached the thickly clustered trees of the jungle. He didn't want to mess up and go crashing into the branches of one of the trees while searching for the other's particular treehouse.
After a bit of searching, the soothsayer eventually found the other's home, wincing a little as he looked up at it. He couldn't help but remember how Seabound used to share the place with someone else... Geo, wasn't it? He hoped that Sea wasn't too terribly broken up about her absence now. Pushing that thought from his mind for the moment, Roan flapped up to the outer platform, sitting down and knocking lightly at the front door. As he did so, he spoke up so he could hopefully be heard through the wood, "Seabound? I came to see if maybe you wanted to begin some of your proper training. I figured it would be good for us to get it done earlier... we can walk and talk, if you want." He hoped that the other was actually home, and he hadn't just flown all this way for nothing.
