His family was the first thing on his list, the first thing he thought of when he had sat down to think of things that he was thankful for being in his life. Without his family he didn't know what he would do. His mothers had helped him form who he was today, and they had helped to make sure that he and his siblings were safe inside their home. He knew that though he had a lot of family in the Typhoon to take care of him, his mothers mattered most to him. He didn't know what he would be able to do if they weren't in his life, and he was so happy they were. He was even thankful for Ry, whom he had met when he had made his own little trip to the Pitt, thankful that he'd been taken care of by his older brother, and made sure that no harm had come to him.
The next thing on his list was turtles, something that only Torsten would understand the meaning of. They weren't something that had ever helped him in his life, but they were his favorite animal and he liked to draw them. He just thought they were neat, so they were on his list.
Crayons, the Typhoon, and fish were the last thing on the child's list. He liked to color, the Typhoon was his home, and he liked to eat fish. They held no real meaning on the list other than he just liked them - the Typhoon being a love but he didn't know the true meaning of what it was to be a Typhooner quite yet - and then the list was done. It was small, but it was his, and he was happy for it.

When he had been told of different things that happened during the holiday, and had been told that often time there were cases of others making a list of things that they were thankful for that year, Torsten had decided that he would participate in this. His list, of course, would be something short and things that wouldn't make sense to anyone but himself, but it would come from his own heart, and that was the important part. His family was the first thing on his list, the first thing he thought of when he had sat down to think of things that he was thankful for being in his life.
