Slowest week (and picking things back up) - September 16th meeting - Morgan - 09-16-2018
Morgan was almost beginning to lose track of time. If it weren't for him making quiet daily visits to check on Vigenere and the others, he would have found himself wondering when he'd start the next meeting.
The samoyed felt like he was going to come out with the shortest set of announcements he'd ever spoken. Activity was at an all-time low, which he feared could be an ill omen. He knew that he himself was not having many meaningful interactions with anyone during most of the week, instead growing more and more busy with small-but-important tasks he had little choice in completing. Of course, the crowd was minuscule compared to how it usually was. Not sensing any other presences nearby, the General called out, "Announcement time, everyone." He stood in front of the statue rather than on top of it; the group around him was small enough that he had no need to take the higher spot. "Not very much to report this week. Progress on the beach was slow, but we at least got a little done." "I'm not aware of any new Tanglers this week. I have some big, big shout-outs for Arrow, Delilah, Leroy, Ophelia, Renegadeanthem, and my Vigenere. I know there hasn't been a lot happening this week, but you all contributed plenty. Thank you." "In other news, someone from Sunhaven came to visit and offered to form an alliance with us. I'm not sure if we'll accept just yet, but who knows? We do really need more allies." He looked around the few Tanglers that gathered, then added, "One last thing: this week we will be putting the farm back together as a continuation of our project to restore Tanglewood's vitality. In the meantime, I'll see if I can band together a small group of Tanglers to continue working on the docks." "That's it for now. I hope things pick up for all of you." TL;DR Re: Slowest week (and picking things back up) - September 16th meeting - arrow - 09-17-2018 Arrow listened to all the news given, her tail twitching. She frowned as she heard her name, looking down. "I haven't done anything." However, the mention of Vigenere and how Morgan addressed him raised her spirits somewhat. The smallest smile replaced her frown. Ah, those two. They were like...a couple of gay dads. She shook her head. Work, right. Back to business. [color=#208030]"Yes, sir." She responded after all was said and done, not agreeing to anything in particular, simply covering all of it. DELILAH EVERGARDEN
Briefly, Delilah wondered where Malphas was, and Stocking. He hadn't seen the two around much, and actually missed them a bit.
TANGLEWOOD — MEDIC — FEMME — TAGSSitting down next to Arrow, Delilah dipped her head in greeting to the woman before her magenta hues settled on Morgan to listen. "Ah, yes.. Understood, Morgan.." She meowed, her tail curling around her body anxiously. © MADI

Her gaze stayed on Morgan as he talked, listening carefully as he spoke. They had been rather quiet lately, and she didn't really know how to feel about it. Could it be the calm before the storm? She didn't really know, but she hoped not. They'd had enough trouble lately. As Morgan finished up with the news, she gave a brisk nod of her head. "Understood." Re: Slowest week (and picking things back up) - September 16th meeting - toboggan - 09-18-2018 Before there was so many, now all this clan had was pretty much everybody present, and a handful of NPCs that didn’t do anything. Placing himself adjacent to Ophelia, Leroy nodded to the fluffy pooch. "Gotcha, gotcha," he’d voice. An alliance with Sunhaven could be beneficial; weren’t those guys the ones who traded? If something sprung up between both Tanglewood and there, the amount of resources and defence the few occupants from the marshlands got from that would be advantageous. As long as those guys left their own pre-existing problems out of it.
