LOVE LETTER【❤】INTRO - the trash man - 08-27-2018

[align=center][div style=" background-color: transparent; border: 0px solid black; width: 550px; min-height: 9px; font-family: arial; line-height: 109%; text-align: left; color: black; padding: 20px;font-size: 12px;"]sounds of vaguely musical nature broke the through the silence befallen upon barracuda bay - polluting its otherwise serene atmosphere. white sands melding to the young form of a kitten sat upon it's crystalline borders, waves gently lapping at the child's sticker adorned paws. again the youth pressed a key on the contraption before her, again did the machine made it's horrible noise and made the child once again wince and smile simultaneously. it was beautiful. milky-white paws traced along the sides of the tech; down the sides of the speaker's tacky, pink plastic and gazing upon the obscenely cutesy face of a proportionately disfigured cat. it's name was emblazoned so proudly at the head of the machine, but linux failed to be able to read the foreign language. what a shame. linux just assumed it was just as pretty as the machine was.

flinching suddenly, linux retracted her paw with a sudden hiss and a jolt to cradle it within her chest for a mere moment before trying once more to touch the flighty piece of tech. it was sparking. linux became crestfallen at the realisation, but couldn't be entirely shocked as the wave's water did have a rather adverse effect to all tech it seemed to come in contact with. perhaps it was not the smartest idea linux had; to come all the way down to the bay for a jam session with a broken and old piano. "come on! please work. please." frustration built in the youthful kitten, angered paws whipping around to give the piano a good whack for good measure. "stupid thing!" the piano however did not seem to take well to harsh orders, or any kind of verbal speech for that matter. the piano simply shifted slightly, mocking linux in it's broken and pitiful state. "sorry.."

Re: LOVE LETTER【❤】INTRO - Grey - 08-27-2018

He used to know how to play the drums. Or, at least, he still knows how to play he was just...disadvantaged. He has no human hands, no telepathy, no nothing. Well, it wasn't as if he'd let others know that. He doesn't view it as anything to pride himself over. In fact, it made him a little embarrassed that he used to take music lessons. It was just a way to vent his anger, to improve his coordination, but always he finds himself being driven to prove his worth. He refuses to let others belittle him. Well, those were the memories that sparked within his mind when he saw the young girl whining at a piano, first begging the inanimate to work then verbally abusing the tech. What keeps his attention, however, was the apology she gave. The privateer can't help but snort at her when he walks past, kicking at a seashell  as he does his best to remain as distant as possible. He doesn't want to care, doesn't want to invest his time into a kitten who was stupid enough to bring instruments so close to the tide.

The ragdoll snaps the air, teeth clasping together with a clean, bitter cut. He turns and faces her. "Face it kid. You were stupid enough to bring it to the beach so stop fuckin' whining," Bakugou roars at her. His ears are flattened against his cranium, fur risen in annoyance to the girl. Well, he knows she can't help herself. It's just like how Bakugou can't help himself. He spent so long whining and yet can't stand this girl crying over a broken piano. It was hypocritical of him but just seeing her made him angrier by the minute because it reminded him of himself and his own absurd sulks. "It's not gettin' fixed. Go find something else." He doesn't know how to fix pianos. He's not good at technology and, from the looks of it, it must have relied on electricity. The water would have redirected the circuits. "And don't apologise to inanimate objects. They don't have a soul."

Re: LOVE LETTER【❤】INTRO - CAESAR CIPHER. - 08-27-2018

ALL ALONE HE TURNS TO STONE !
CAESAR CIPHER. MALE. THE TYPHOON. OFFICER.
Caesar wasn't an instrumental person. After all, how can he be when he was a cat and always had been one? Sure, he was a demon, but he was born like this. Yeah, he could possess a human body if he wanted to, but that was impossible here. And besides, he didn't even want to possess a human body. Disgusting creatures. At least he had some sort of decency. "There's no point in fixing it." Caesar agreed with Bakugou as he came over, his eyes narrowed at the kitten. "Why the hell did you think it was a good idea to bring it on the beach, anyway?"
#psychosocial.

Re: LOVE LETTER【❤】INTRO - the trash man - 08-28-2018

[align=center][div style=" background-color: transparent; border: 0px solid black; width: 550px; min-height: 9px; font-family: arial; line-height: 109%; text-align: left; color: black; padding: 20px;font-size: 12px;"]"you got no soul!" flurries of emotions hit the small milk-hued child as the older boy came over, his words igniting the sparks of frustration brewing in the child's stomach. because how dare bakugou so brashly insult linux? didn't he know that she considered herself a technological genius? one who was only five months and couldn't quite understand yet that water equals bad for electronics. maybe not quite a genius yet. but still, how dare he - linux was a growing technological genius! he should be looking up to her. in response to the sudden outburst of emotion linux's body reacted in fluffing up every prt of her body that could do so, linux's head proudly held high and fighting back a few embarrassed tears to appear smart and strong. but surely just no one could see the hidden potential linux was trying to tap into right? because another typhoon member also came to the child, questioning her antics. how dare-!

even more irritation began to spout like flames from the child's core, their blush pink hues narrowed and sharp against the form of caeser so calmly strolling by to place his two cents in on the argument. "well i am gonna' fix it! and you're gonna' be so sorry once i do!" a haughty gaze and a childish tongue poking out accompanied the child's indignant words and highlighted upon them. "i know what i'm doing, duh." and again linux mashed their snow-dyed paws against the hello kitty piano, the machine letting out a garbled ping that almost sounded like a c sharp. it was like a dying musician - tragic.

Re: LOVE LETTER【❤】INTRO - beck. - 08-29-2018

Beck was learning to tolerate the constant noise of other creatures, even if he absolutely hated it. How he longed for the silence, the eternally quiet days wasted away in isolation from the world, with only a mutated fly trap at his side. Yet even the loneliest of hermits needed attention every once in a blue moon. Which was what he assumed had been his reasoning for washing up on a pirate-infested island in the first place. Regret stabbed between his ribcage with every electronic note pounded out and every proceeding voice clamoring in his head. Struggling to keep his teeth from gritting in annoyance otherwise he reawaken the pain of an untreated jaw fracture, the little poltergeist defeatedly looked up from where he had been lazing in a low-hanging tree, paws clamped over his ears to muffle the nearby racket. Well, if he couldn't ignore them, he might as well join them in a crusade to keep the shores peaceful and uninterrupted by key mashing.

Was this what the modern generation called music? Beck couldn't help but wrinkle his mutilated snout at the sight, pointedly circling around Caesar to glare down at the source of his current agony. "Gross," was all his aching mouth could rasp out, the sparking circuits of the poor device causing his own apparition to bristle with static. Nobody would mourn if he just sapped off a little energy, right? Who knew when his next chance to stock up would be. But judging on the other child's behavior, it would be best to not completely fry their broken toy and put it out of its misery. The concept of repairing the mockery of an instrument was amusing at least, and with the best intentions, Beck squinted down at the machine. It was supposed to be a piano, or at least he thought. Plopping back into a slouch, one frigid paw reached into his apparition, disrupting the illusion of existence as he fished around for what he believed would be useful. After a moment, Beck retrieved a bundle of piano wire, fumbling to unravel it and pull it taut before he presented the useless supply to the girl, an oblivious attempt at a smile twitching on disfigured lips. Until he realized the leftover blood still staining the wire from its prior use as a ligature, but he quickly licked the dried blood off, wincing at the texture as he offered it back to Linux. The keyboard had to of had regular piano mechanisms inside it, so replacing a snapped wire would fix it, right?

Re: LOVE LETTER【❤】INTRO - Keona. - 08-29-2018

✯ — female. striker of the typhoon. blind. rusty spotted cat.  ref. bio.
"Jezus," the tiny fae murmured, ears flattening.  What was that sound?  A C?  It was terribly off.  The child, musically inclined due to her the favorite passtime of her father's former crew, had not heard an out of tune instrument in a while. Or any intstrument, in a while.  Her heart ached at the sound and memory.

Flowing notes across the deck of a ship.  Lilted voices singing humorously.  The gentle waves rocking in tempo.  In their off-time, the crew often spun tales in Gaelic and English, and while they worked, soft, rhythmic tones.  Keona used to hum along as she waddled across the deck.

The most adored times had always been when her father sang at night.  His first mate had loved piano; beautiful notes following her father's soft lullabies, lulling her to sleep.  He still sang, but it was different now.  This place was not the same.  it never would be, really.

Awfully morose, the kitten followed the sound.  "... It's off-key," she murmured.  "Playin' it won't fix it," she pointed out thoughtfully, wondering if maybe she could help it produce a true note, "you should check inside."

Re: LOVE LETTER【❤】INTRO - Luciferr - 08-29-2018

[table][tr][td]
"The endless Void, The gazing abyss, The bottomless ocean of horror...
It coiled itself around your tender heart."
"my, what a racket" a dry voice rumbles behind the group, as the bulk of a familiar shadow paints its silhouette cars so the group and the sands - the half of the resident god's face that can move wincing slightly at the noise.

"is request you cease that until it is fixed and you can play it properly - with all that's gone on around here, we could use some peace" what with the injuries suffered to their youngest and most brightest personalities - and the tragic loss of their captain's husband, it'd be nice to have less of a racket drawing pincher' attention away from his mourning time.

Re: LOVE LETTER【❤】INTRO - FELIKS - 08-29-2018

[align=center][div style="text-align: justify; width: 60%; font-family: georgial; font-size: 11pt;"]Jesus, he'd never seen so many creatures act so antagonistic towards a little tot before. Joining at a time where he had not been around to witness all of the glum events surrounding the clan, it wasn't easy for Feliks to feel any sympathy towards those who had felt the air become heavy with loss, or perhaps if he'd actually joined a few weeks earlier... empathy. The griffon approached slowly, a scoffing sound erupting from his powerful beak as he listened to what the rest of his clanmates had to say about the piano.  It was all fun and games till a horrific shriek came from the instrument, the male flinching in physical pain as his ear drums begged him for the sweet release of death. "Hey kid, before you fix it, can you play Twinkle Twinkle Little Star for me? It's one of me favourites, I've always wanted to know what it sounded like on a piano like that," he asked, serious despite the cooing noise in his throat. A mischievous glint in his eyes, Feliks just seemed to want his clanmates to suffer the disgusting noises further - it was worth bleeding from his earholes if everyone else did to. "Consider it a gift to all of these grumps," he gave an emerald eye a wink, flapping his wings in preperation in case he had to run away from a mob of dead pirates.

Re: LOVE LETTER【❤】INTRO - the trash man - 08-30-2018

[align=center][div style=" background-color: transparent; border: 0px solid black; width: 550px; min-height: 9px; font-family: arial; line-height: 109%; text-align: left; color: black; padding: 20px;font-size: 12px;"]caught within the haze of fury that had linux disassociated with the rest of the world, it hadn't come to the child's attention that even more had decided to come down to the bay's shores and surround the kitten. it was beck's harsh minor comment that had popped the metaphorical bubble that encompassed linux and her toy only for her to come say hello once again to reality. promptly the milky-white child whipped her head right around to give the ghostly figure what for, ready to spout some malice laced in the defence of linux's beloved machine, with blush pink eyes blown wide with anger and already irritated huffs escaping the snowy child's maw. but the child's visage abruptly broke out in a confused expression as linux watched the ghost take something out of his own very being and offer it as some sort of present. oh. it was soiled with what linux could only make an educated guess was, in fact, dry blood. very disconcerting, but the kitten supposed that the sentiment was in the right place. and what else was linux supposed to do? reject the gift and potential cure for her beloved piano's techno illness? hell no. "oh, um.. thanks!" hesitantly linux took the wires from beck, the kitten still vaguely concerned as to why exactly the wires were covered in blood - and why beck had them in his possession. but whatever; the blood was mostly gone and it might just save the piece of tech from an untimely death. "i'll uh, see if it works with this."

others who came along linux was not as entirely pleased to have among company - a la keona and lucifer who the child fixated with a sharp pointed glare between the two of them for their less than optimistic comments. actually, linux did suppose they were somewhat okay with keona's suggestions; they were at least somewhat constructive. "yeah well, that was kinda how to fix it. but i assure you, i'll have it playing a real melody in no time. just you wait!" optimism dripped from linux every word, their softened gaze drifting from the form of the similarly young child towards the much older one of lucifer. who was not spared from the wrath of linux's death glares. only if they did actual damage - actually that was a little too much. "you can't tell me what to do! i do what i want, and play what i want!" in the eyes of linux, lucifer was just some old guy who wanted to rain on the child's parade, linux incredibly abhorred by the idea of actually doing whatever the dragon told the feline to do.

finally though, at least someone else wasn't so incredibly hostile towards the sickly pink hello kitty piano toy. linux smiled proudly as feliks suggested that the child play a little something for all the fans of linux's toy. "of course! i'd be happy to." puffed up the child's blush pink hues sparkled with glee at the older man's approval of the child's fun. "especially for the grumps." moving towards the toy once again with wires in tow the child gave the toy one more push as if the child had forgotten how broken the thing was. truth be told actually though - linux didn't know how to play twinkle twinkle little star. or any songs for that matter.
