FATE IN ITS OWN WINGS || open, abandoned on border - SIENNA S. - 03-23-2018 don’t blame yourself SIENNA SCIARRA — FEMALE — THE ASCENDANTS — CHILD — HARD They were disposing her. What else were they doing in walking the unfamiliar lands towards territory that she doesn’t even recognize? The firm grind of teeth in her scruff made her wince, but she knew it by then that it was useless to struggle, even as old as she is, getting close by the age of six months. The discovery of her condition, of asthma that plagued her lungs that limited her from the physical durability she should have as a Sciarra family member has been the cause of this. If only, only she’d hidden it well, made sure that she never pushed herself too hard on her training, then she would still be with her family, with her brothers and sisters, going through numerous battles with other families. Hell, maybe she would have been the heir of the family if she’d just done this correctly. But now, instead of all thee glory she would have recieved, teeth roughly grabbed onto her scruff, that forcefully moved her body off to somewhere she doesn’t know. She was blindfolded, as her father took many turns in order to ensure that she would never find them ever again, wherever he was going to leave her. The Sciarra fmaily wasn’t cruel to leave any dying child of theirs to suffer death, but offer little mercy of giving them off to somewhere for who were not able to complete their expectations in regards to their health. Now, as the movement of her father slowed down, she was dropped into the ground, paws barely catching her body as the bandana around her eyes were removed. The cream tabby kitten gazed down at what was covering her eyes- which was an italian flag bandana. She gazed at it for a moment, before attempting to look at her father. But, her father had already turned away from her, barely giving a glance back at her as she saw his retreating figure in the forest. Trying her best to keep all the emotions from flowing out of her, she took deep, steady breathes, and soon was able to detect she was in the border of what appeared to be a marked territory. She didn’t know what to do for now, aside from stay silent, look back to where her father disappeared off to, and ever so yearning to go back home where she knew she truly belonged. In all the five months of her life, never had she felt more alone than how she did as of now. Re: FATE IN ITS OWN WINGS || open, abandoned on border - ghostpact - 03-23-2018 "DAMN DUDE." tags
The serval was aware of the need to patrol occasionally, it was just a habit he got into with his old gang so even if it wasn't required, he would still fall into the role. that's just what he had been doing when he spotted the kid at the border. He had been just there in the distance when the parent, he guessed, was leaving. Some people were just cruel. Immortalhd knew his fair share of cruel people and it was the reason he was here in the first place. Looked like, in a way they already had something in common. There were other reasons, too, but that didn't matter much now. What did matter was someone just came and dumped their kid practically on the Ascendants' doorstep. HD wasn't the greatest with kids, but he didn't hate them and he still felt some annoyance at the supposed caretaker for just leaving her there. He took a moment to try thinking of something to do about it. Nothing really came to mind, but he wasn't going to turn back now. With a huff, he picked up the pace. When he finally got within reasonable conversation distance of Sienna, he slowed to a stop and dipped his head slightly to her level. "Hey, uh. Hey there..." Now that he was there he didn't know what to say. "This is Ascendants territory, by the way." Not that she had purposefully trepassed. He meant it more to inform. "... you need some food or somethin'?"

He wasn't the most social of guys, and the more frequently his souls bothered him, the grouchier he got. It wasn't that he was particularly harsh, but rather that he tended to lack social tact or just didn't care enough to dress up his words all nice and pretty. He was very to the point and blunt, usually with a filthy mouth to muddle things up and make him seem angrier than he actually was. In reality, he was usually pretty damn nonchalant and calm, not too excitable. Only things that truly angered him could disrupt his general disposition. That being said, he had a weak spot for kids. It was... interesting. He wasn't great with them, and didn't always like them too much (such as when they were loud, or annoying), but still. Bastille had a sort of protective instinct towards those who were vulnerable, the natural inclination to defend; he was pretty quick to warm up to little ones, even if he rarely admitted it. (It's not like anyone was ever inquiring, anyway.) As he arrived on the border, his ice blue gaze skimmed over HD before focusing on the kitten, a scowl emerging. There was a second scent lingering in the air, a clear indication that someone else had just left, and Bast sent a deadly glare towards the tree line. Honestly, what the fuck? Ditching your kid on some foreign border? What if they hadn't been peaceful? What a fucking douchebag. "Asshole," he muttered under his breath, before reminding himself that there were more important things to focus on at the moment. Namely, a forsaken child. He swiveled toward the girl, looking her over first to determine if she was injured, before he forced his posture to relax. "Hey, kiddo," he greeted, voice lacking the usual rough edge to it, "I'm Bastille. You can call me Bast, if you want. Do you want to come up to the observatory and tell us where you came from?" Re: FATE IN ITS OWN WINGS || open, abandoned on border - Dragon- - 03-25-2018 [div style="width: 450px; height: 350px; text-align: justify; padding: 8px; overflow: auto;"] Abandoning your kids was absolutely deplorable and it was difficult to accept that people did it..yet this kid here was, sadly, proof. The young clouded leopard would make his way onto the scene, examining the child for a second before going to stand beside the serval dude. "I can get you food or anything if ya need it, alright?" He'd say softly before gesturing towards the Observatory. "we've got a bunch of clanmates and stuff in the observatory if you need food or medical attention." Phobeus wanted to curse whoever had left the child here, he knew how shitty it was to be without a family but he hadn't been abandoned by his, he'd run away. He wasn't quite sure what to do right now and would let the serval and the other dude handle the kid, although Phobeus was still standing on the side.. this wasn't good at all.

Re: FATE IN ITS OWN WINGS || open, abandoned on border - Character Graveyard. - 03-25-2018 LUNAFREYA N.F. ✯ — take these broken wings and learn to fly

Luna was raised by a loving mother and brother. They had always been there for her and she was always there for them. Until the day her mother was murdered in cold-blood, she and her brother were close. After that, they grew distant. Than he disappeared one day. She had felt like he'd abandoned her because she was weak.
The snowy feline slowly came across the scene, taking note of the young kitten. She felt horrified. The poor thing had been abandoned. Heaving a slow-and-soft sigh, Luna thought for a moment or two. Somebody had to take care of the little one and raise her. And, nobody seemed to be stepping up for it. "If anyone has no objections- I'll take her under my wing." Came the female's soft whisper. space
