// takes place right after Seven leaves this thread //

Seven could hear her heart in her ears, closing the door only to press her body against the wall next to it, hitting it with a harsh thump. Perhaps it was her adrenaline, perhaps the thought that Corruptedtimelines had the audacity to return after months. She had a thought that Aesior was hurting because of the loss, and that thought sparked her anger. And now the anger was gone.

It reminded her of how Moth had left, leaving her (and Atticus) stranded. She wasn't as pained by her leave, but it felt as though Seven had no solid structure for months after. Aimlessly drifting, hoping she'd return. But years went by, and she didn't, and Seven came to peace.

Her lungs ached with the heaving breaths she took, mouth agape. It sounded like she was gasping. Her claws dug into the wooden boards below her, and she forced herself to quiet down. There was no time for tears, no time for emotions. No time for her feelings.

She heard footsteps come up her stairs and she closed her jaws, steadied herself. Trying to relax, she turned to face the door, waiting for it to open.

Solsken was still pissed. God all he wanted to do was go back out there and rip Cory a new one. How dare he say such things and to assume Solsken wouldn’t understand. Hell he sure did understand cause all he could see was a coward who came crawling back after leaving everyone behind. Just like his parents.

With a sigh the Hellhound stepped into Seven’s home, his gaze lifting as he strode through the front door and catching sight of the tigress in front of him. He lifted his head and tilted it to the side, taking note of the blank look in her blind gaze. ”Seven?” He called out I’m and oh so Soft tone that was rare to be heard from the firey hound.

Cory hadn’t gotten far since the altercation. He had taken Vintara back to his room and gotten him acquainted back in his little bed. Since it was only about midday, he expected to be followed, but at least he tried. Having his minuscule family back brought him a sense of warmth, which he had lacked in a long time. All he had felt in his time away was cold and unforgiving pain. Now, maybe he could be normal again.

Cory was lumbering by with a bucket full of water, planning on offering it to some of the sick clanmates he knew about since his return, when he heard Solsken speak, though it was hardly above a whisper. He found that odd, considering how outspoken they had been mere moments ago. Turning to face Seven’s house, he could see the blind tigress just over Solsken’s shoulder. Her body language reeked of anxiety, something the dragon knew all too well.

He glanced to the direction he planned on going in, and then Seven’s house. He frowned, knowing this was his fault. Moving closer and setting the bucket down on her porch, he glanced at the two knowingly. “I’m sorry, this is probably my fault. This is for Seven,” he told Solsken. Then, glancing to the blind tigress, a sorrowful look she would never know appeared upon his face.

Unless Seven wants me to stay, I’ll go back to what I was doing.

Re: COLLAPSING AS IT SEES THE PAIN // TW: ASSUMED PANIC ATTACK - Atticus Roux - 03-09-2023

ATTICUS ROUX -
So, the bitch was back? With no acknowledgement to their feelings, Corruptedtimelines had left them in the dark about why he left. His ignorance left Atticus angry. As a result, he followed after Solsken and Seven. Despite no permission given, he entered the house with a swift look across the area and then slammed the door behind him. His eyes turned to lock onto Seven. She was pressed up against the side of the wall, heaving and huffing. Immediately, his attention went from the tragedy of one's arrival to the other's panic.

He slid over towards her. With his short stature sitting down, he looked up at her with an observant gaze. Atticus sat silent for a few moments. His own heart was pounding and his mind was racing, even connecting back to his own mother's disappearance per coincidence. He could not find the right words to say yet. Knowing he would harshly did if he did speak now, he let himself recollect his own thoughts in between the therapeutic silence between them.

As they sat together, he finally found himself able to calm down. Sunflower colored eyes attempted to lock with her panicked gaze. An unsheathed paw reached out, attempting to place it atop of her own and lightly linger there for a few moments. "Don't let the fuckwad get to you," he muttered, though through gritted teeth. "He does not know of the damage he did." Nor did he acknowledge it. Ignorant, ignorant, ignorant. The feline could only let out a long sigh in an attempt to further calm down. She needed a serene spirit, not a fiery Napoleon complex.

And yet, as the door opened, he flipped like a switch when his eyes came in contact with the man himself. Atticus shot up from his position. The fur on the back of his nape started to stand up as he pulled his paw away from hers, unsheathing as he did so. "GET THE FUCK OUT!" he snapped. His reaction was probably not helpful for either party, especially Seven's anxiety, but Atticus was too protective to notice that.

First, Solsken. Then, Corrupttimelines. Finally, Atticus. The myriad of voices coming from them made her close her blind eyes. Too many outlines, too many people. Too much. She kept silent through it all, the consolation, the offer, the anger. Atticus' words only made her wrench her body away, body facing away from the trio. Too much, far too much. Opening her blind gaze, but not moving to face them, she spoke. "Can we please be civil? Enough of the yelling, please." It was barely above a whisper, and her tail lashed around. "We have done enough damage already."

The guilt was eating Cory seeing her in such a state. Being shouted at by Atticus simply made him feel worse. He flinched away as the other male came forward with claws unsheathed, feeling his heart rate hasten. However, it didn’t take much for him to realize that the yelling was just scaring her more. Shaking his head, he left the water there.

Okay.

The male turned around, head hanging low as he wandered off, heading back towards the bustle of clanmates and ignoring Seven’s words. He knew when he wasn’t wanted, and he wasn’t about to intrude.
