cold did not stop him from leaving his home. paws crunching as he moved out into the cold. hunger was harsh and he chose to feed his home. so, he stalked through the storm. snow whipping into his face. the beast soon spotted movement.

a moose. a fight for sure, but it was what it was. the lion surged through the snow. leaping on the moose from behind and sinking his fangs into the back of the neck. bouncing and bucking until luci felt the moose shit and he swung his own body to throw the moose off balance.

letting go, he would dive in and sink his fangs in the neck. holding until the beast stopped fighting. tired, but wanting to go home, he would drag the moose carcass home. struggling with each step until he was back in the camp. there he flopped and panted. he was worn out.
