The deinonychus sighed deeply, moving slightly as they rested by the border. The stream before her, gentle and bubbling, lulled her feral mind. As days went on since Ximens death, the girl had become less of a Girl and more of a feral animal, refusing to be in camp or talk to others.

Her nose twitched at the scent that wafted to her nose. Coalition. Rising from her spot, wings flared and eyes wide, she let out a shriek. She eyed the large feline from across the border, lips lifting in a snarl.

THEY'RE ONLY HUMAN, THEY DON'T SEE!
Resolute he stood, facing the reptilian beast. He sighed, a low huff as he stepped over the border tentatively. "At ease. I will not hurt you." He spoke slowly, attempting to lull the beast into peace. "Who are you?" He reached to try and lay the question in their mind. Slowly Byriath sat down, keeping his eyes to the ground.

As the Coalitioner wandered closer, the beast let out a roar. Slow, at first, but suddenly becoming louder and stronger. Anger. Rage. The question that landed in her brain made her furious, and she screamed. "YOU DARE ENTER MY MIND, MORTAL?" She was not herself. Something grand... or something evil, unrelenting, had taken her for a moment. "Why are you here." She rumbled, stepping forward.

The large feline sighed, but he did little as she stared.
