a way with words | introduction - Bailey - 05-12-2022 BAILEY FROST ✯ — YOU CAN PRETEND YOU DON'T CARE
space
The white tiger had been here for some time now. They couldn’t remember how they first got here but they knew this was home now. Bailey remembered being on her own for a long time before finding this place. Lucky that she hadn’t stumbled into any of the many traps around the swamp. They thought it was also lucky to find so many nice people here. Well, who she thought was nice. Since she didn’t really know anyone here. Something she wanted to change but didn’t know how.
Bailey decided that the library was one of her favorite spots. It appeared to be quiet but the books always talked. It had been some time since she read anything. Faintly remembering being taught at a young age. She rather enjoyed a good book. But nothing compared to exploring on one's own. But today she settled up in a corner of the library. Looking over the books that still remained on the shelf. Browzing the different colored covers. space

the tiger wouldn't be alone for long, the local mute making his presence known in the soft flipping of pages and thunk of books against wooden table and shelves. His pursuits of growing his own garden within the swamps had driven him to the library in hopes of finding books that contained knowledge in how to grow and keep the most finicky of plants and herbs. to his disappointment, his travels hadn't revealed many books about the flora of his new homeland.
flipping the page of the book he studied currently, his own notebook laid out before him as he would occasionally scribble notes down, tongue sticking from his mouth as he frowned in concentration. He might as well be cut off from the world, too deafened by his passion project to notice any others or any noise that they made within the library. It was only when he felt a gust of wind over his fur from an npc leaving the library and the flames of his lantern shivering, that he would lift his head and find that there was more company in the library. Peering out the windows, blinking in surprise. He'd buried his face in books late at night, kept company by his lantern and the various candles left on the desks. To see the glistening of sun upon the window panes, he was quite surprised yet horrified. How long had it been? Had he been there for days already? Studying usually led to days of not acknowledging his body or his surroundings - a proper past time just carried out in a concerning fashion. True to tune, the tabby Tom's stomach would announce itself with a loud growl, his face growing hot under his fur. Perhaps part of his sheltering within the library was to avoid the bothersome portion of the population. He had no necessity as a medically trained individual, if one was injured, there was Seven. A blind tigress and a mute cat, how funnier could they get? Shaking his head faintly, he looked over to Bailey properly now that he was pulled from his book, sheepishly dipping his head in her direction if she'd taken note of the dark eyed and exhausted Tom. space
Re: a way with words | introduction - CORRUPTTIMELINES - 05-15-2022 Of course, Corrupttimelines had also made the library into his home. Often he would come here just to read books and learn about strange new things. He learned about historical information, or he learned new plants to keep. Not that he needed more by any means, but sometimes he found great pleasure in keeping new plants alive.
Peeking his head into the library, a gentle smile would creep across his face. Aesior looked quite mortified, but Cory paid this no mind. Trotting closer, the feline glanced at Bailey and offered a smile. “Hello, enjoying a book?” code by spacexual |
