APATHY IS A TRADGEDY AND BOREDOM IS A CRIME // Hallucination - SETHIRAM - 05-06-2022 Rainbow eyes stared at his oil-slick ones, and their black paws turned to leave. "Muse!" he gasped at the air, though his eyes saw the mentioned feline as they continued to walk away. They broke into a sprint, and he quickly collected his notebook and pencil to chase after them. To anyone around him, he was simply running into the swamp. "MUSE! HANG ON! WHY'D YOU LEAVE!?" He screamed into the air, chasing after the imaginary figure. His lungs started hurting, but still he chased with a fury. Desperate for his brother, another face so familiar to him. "Please.... stop running! You can stay here..! Please!!" He wheezed, but skidded to a halt as pain shot up his leg. He stared ahead, watching the figure as it stood next to a tree. Tears welled in his eyes as he realized. "You're not even real, are you? You're just a hallucination." Sethiram choked out, watching the figure fizzle away. He knashed his teeth to hold back the sobs, reducing them to painful breaths. "It's always not real." — Reggan
Re: APATHY IS A TRADGEDY AND BOREDOM IS A CRIME // Hallucination - CORRUPTTIMELINES - 05-07-2022 Corrupttimelines was no stranger to hallucinations. In his deeper purges of alcoholism, he had fallen into the clutches of one too many drinks far too many times. He would drink until he couldn’t see straight, and when the realization slammed him, he would drink more. All of this was to forget, but what was there left to forget? All Corrupttimelines had concrete in his life was his name and his son. That was all that was tangible, permanent.
Tonight, the domestic feline was deep within the recesses of the swamp when he heard desperate cries and pleas. Thudding pawsteps resounded, and for a moment he thought someone had gotten into a spat with a clanmate. Deciding it was best to check and be sure, the feline made his way over and peered his head around, only to be met with Sethiram choked up resisting sobs. In truth, he was unsure how to react. Yet, he needed to do something. He moved closer cautiously, just before attempting to place a paw on the former’s side in comfort. code by spacexual |
