BREAK IT UP • studying - CORRUPTTIMELINES - 04-16-2022

An odd sight.

Corrupttimelines remained in his feline form, trudging through camp bitterly. He wanted nothing more than to shift back right this very instant. Especially since people liked to poke fun at him for being small now. After all, when he was a large wyvern he was feared! He could swallow pests in a single gulp. And while he was pacifistic by nature, it was easy for the darker recesses of his mind to grab hold once in awhile.

So, he needed a distraction.

Today, the larger feline would trek through camp with a bundle of assorted herbs in his jaws. As he clung onto them, he maneuvered and weaved through the bustling clanmates until he found himself a spot off in the corner. There, he laid out his herbs and began to look them over gingerly.

He was practicing his medical knowledge all over again.

herbs. he never understood the point of herbs. he was young, but he still just didn't get the point in healing. live or die. that was how life was supposed to be, right? the young hybrid would make his way across the camp to rest nearby. eyes scanning the feline and the herbs.

the male would part his jaws and speak. "what are you doing?" his voice was rough. clearly not used often. the child was partly curious and party confused.

Admittedly, the hybrid had caught Corrupttimelines by surprised. His head cocked towards them with a soft jump following. Then, his gaze befell the herb she had laying out in front of him all over again. A soft smirk fell on his face, and a shrug soon followed before he tapped on a bundle of marigold.

I’m looking over herbs. Need to stay sharp,” he responded, picking up one of the strange flowers and waving it into the air gingerly. “Like marigold. Good for preventing infections,” the medically inclined tom said.

AND NOW, WE'RE ALL TO BLAME
GONE TOO FAR, FROM PRIDE TO SHAME
"Think you'd be able to help Seven with her herbs?" The small black and red feline meowed gently, approaching the two. It felt odd to be in her birth body again, but somewhat welcoming. The permanent scarring of her back was an unwelcoming aspect, though. "Not trying to put her down, but with her blindness and all.." Her voice was little more than a whisper as she sat down, and Ares flicked an ear.

[div style="width: 51%; text-align: justify; font-size: 10pt; letter-spacing: 0px; font-family: georgia; color: #15616D;"]at the words of the older feline, the child paused. eyeing the plant and opening his powerful jaws. snapping them shut as another joined and spoke. turning his cold red eyes to this creature, he took in their words with a cold and calculated gaze not moving from her. blind? he asked with a hint of confusion.

not because the word was strange to him. no, this was because in his mind, blind was weak. weak was useless. but, he did not voice this. he simply looked back to the herb. prevents infection? plants can do that?

As Ares raised an inquiry, he cocked a metaphorical brow. Did Seven really need the help? They had seemed to do just fine on their own. Truthfully, he wasn’t keen on offering help that she didn’t ask for. That might make her think Corrupttimelines thought she was incompetent, which was the furthest thing from the truth.

If she truly needs it,” he responded contently, grabbing the lavender and beginning to sort it. Then, his head cocked up quickly as he let out a grunt. Then, he nodded softly as a response.
