LAMB TO THE SLAUGHTER || CLEANING PROJECT - rhosmari - 06-24-2021

FIRE AND "BRYMSTONE"
He had announced that they would begin cleaning up the grim left in the wake of the flooding. He would make due on his words after all he was not a cruel individual unless someone frayed on his own nerves. Treated him poorly. With days passing on they needed to get this all done and over with. While other groups were dawdling they would be working on building their Empire. The sun was barely making it's way across the horizon, orange and pink coloring speaking of dawn as the beast left the temporary home he had claimed for himself. Metal and claws scrapped against the ground as he arched his back, stretching himself out before his tail whipped across the air. The bone faced Luminary was well rested although he didn't really sleep. Perhaps more so like a shutting off of the mind? Regardless he moved down the creaking steps of the porch and looked around the town. Mud and algae clung to a lot of the homes, one was twisted sideways because of the strength of the water that bashed against it. A sigh rippled from his throat as he slowly pulled the mud up from around that house, watching it hover for a moment. Shaking and warping, wobbly, unstable. Vale. If he could blink he would have, a heart speeding up before he dumped the mud into the nears source of water he could find.

Back in to the swamp. After that he began to work on another home, dislodging the mud that coated it and moving it back where it originally had come from. Shifting algae and cleaning up around the statue so that things were pristine and looked at least a little bit better. But all of this work he could not do along so he wondered if anyone else would come along to help. After all this was more their home than his own. Yet he was cleaning it up not for himself but for them. As Luminary it was his job to look after those that were his people, these were his people now. He would defend them till he died or till they would attempt to get rid of him. Whichever came first.
AND I'M BACK TO MY WAYS, CAUSE I'M HEARTLESS
SEVEN YEARS I BEEN SWIMMING WITH THE SHARKS NOW

Re: LAMB TO THE SLAUGHTER || CLEANING PROJECT - Atticus Roux - 06-26-2021

Another day, another dictator. That kinda sounds right... right? Atticus didn't necessarily care. The amount of times he's experienced a whack ass leader (3 times, was it? Dante, Stryker, and Brym... maybe more), they all seemed to have a similar agenda: win the love of their people and do whatever the fuck they want. In hindsight, that was very contradictory? As the thought passed his mind, he paused. His eyes stared out at Brymstone and narrowed in contemplation. The Roux had walked away previously when the larger creature chose to introduce themselves, along with the others, and he was considering doing the same.

Maybe, though, something changed in him. Give the dude a chance... Yeah, sure... Totally.

Wrong.

Stubborn and grumpy, the canine decided to approach anyways. If they wanted to clean and actually improve Tanglewood, then he would let them. Atticus approached the home they were working on, pausing for a moment as he watched Brymstone work his magic. Powerless and unable to do something similar, he had to work with his paws and intuition only.

Sunflower colored eyes rotated towards Brymstone. "What do you need done?" he barked roughly. If his orders were fair, true, and actually beneficial, then perhaps Atticus would listen... if not, well... fuck them.
