LIKE WHAT YOU SEE? THEN YOU GOT GOOD VISION
BOY, THIS BEAT HITS SO DIFFERENT.
Though it was late in the evening the town was bustling with activity now that their drought had ended. Things were becoming much more lively despite their shortage of food and water but at least things were improving. It had rained again not too long ago and prey was finding its way back into the swamp. It took her a little bit given her state but she dragged in the corpse of two large wild board. She mainly caught them for something other than eating but she was sure that someone was into pork. Personally she didn't have a strong taste for it. When she settled the two corpses upon the pile for their food one would be able to note that something was missing. That something being their tusks. She had removed them not too long ago and had set them on the porch. They were important.

Turning from the food pile she then made her way to the porch where the tusks were and she picked up a sharp flat rock. Settling down she began to use that rock to sharpen the tusks. Grinding the rock against the surface as she hummed to herself. Making daggers was something she was used to doing, it was a pastime that eased her mind. The repetitive motion of it soothing. She was going to make two of these to give to Lucinder and Stefflon if they wanted them. Like with Ares she saw these as important for the children, so they didn't forget who they were.

IT MUST BE BELIEVED TO BE SEEN
Moth wasn't one to stop a parent from doing something they thought was neccessary for their children if she could help it. The idea of daggers for small children too young to even think about fighting was something she didn't like, but it wasn't something she could stop if Elsweyr wanted to give to her children. She could request that they not practice with them until at least apprentices and had some experience in battle training under their belt to avoid injuries as much as possible though, and had she known right away what the Luminary had currently been doing, she likely would have asked for something like that.

All Moth knew as she came over at the time though was that Elsweyr had tusks - it was obvious where they came from as well, considering she had walked by the kill pile not too long ago - and was currently carving them into, well, something, and Moth was intrigued. "Hi Elsweyr." The reaper would begin as she pad over, looking upon the work that the other had been doing before she had gotten there. "What are you making?"

Elsweyr may have not had the taste for pork, interested mainly in the tusks the creatures provided, but Arrow? Arrow would eat anything. Especially if it was something that wasn’t particularly common in the territory. Not that she needed to ask anyone before she grabbed hold of one of the carcasses, gladly ripping the skin with her teeth and pulling flesh apart. Not that she could possibly eat it all, she ate a good deal on a good day but an entire boar would push it. Instead, she opted for one of the meaty back legs, pulling the bone from the hip and the chunk of muscle that came with it, leaving a big gap carved up to the spine. Actually dragging it away so she wouldn’t have to share, which she felt was deserved given how much she had starved over the course of the drought, lead her to Elsweyr and Moth. She mumbled something around the future meal in her jaws, looking down at the tusks that would very soon be more daggers. Hot, watching a woman make weapons. She dropped the leg and put one paw over it as if protecting it from future food bandits. ”Niiiice. More shit for the stabby-stabby?” Arrow briefly, briefly removed her paw to make a stabbing motion, an invisible knife to make her point, before stepping on the leg again.

Weapon making was actually a skill that Vigenere had, believe it or not. Of course, being a soldier certainly had its benefits - weapon making being one of them. Basic medic stuff too, like popping a shoulder back in place or temporarily getting a tourniquet to stop heavy bleeding. The Savannah came passing by Elswyr’s home, ears pricking at Moth’s question. He came over soon after Arrow, slightly amused of her protectiveness.

Then again, would anyone blame her? Pray was just now starting to return back; things didn’t magically fix themselves when the rain started. ”Looks like she’s carving a knife, yes.” He mused, whiskers twitching.

Elsweyr was doing a pretty damn good job so far.
