long live the prince - open; waking up - rhosmari - 05-18-2021 With a shake of his skull he pushed open the door to the home only to stumble out into the lightly. His gaze narrowed against the sun for a moment before he looked around. What was different? How long was he asleep? Everything hurt. Hanging his head a bit he would sigh as he made his way along the boardwalk, not sure where he was going but he was moving somewhere. — Reggan

The whole ordeal with Goldenpaw being attacked had been quite the scene. Alexandre, a pirate, had seemingly attacked her and confirmed it in a way, claiming that he had been possessed. And quite frankly, Drayden wasn't entirely sure if he believed the guy. Possession was a thing, sure, but doing it to a conscious individual...? That seemed strange, far too strange to be likely, at least in Drayden's opinion. Because if that were the case, then what was stopping Aphra from taking control of him? Drayden pushed away that thought as he limped on the boardwalk, not really having a destination in mind and just wandering around. Figuring out what to do, until he saw Goldenpaw on the boardwalk as well. Relieved to see the kid awake, the snow leopard quickened his pace to approach Goldenpaw. "Hey Gold. You doin' okay?"[glow=COLOR,1,400] ━ ✧*:・゚[/glow] Re: long live the prince - open; waking up - sunsetkisses - 05-21-2021 ★

Had she been worried post-attack for Goldenpaw? Yes. It seemed a normal thing, concern building up over the injury sustained by a friend, and anyone with half a brain could have told you that certain injuries were worse than others. Anything with the neck, the throat, it was almost a death sentence in most cases, and with her perception of injury being the worst of the worst given her upbringing, it was no surprise that even someone as bouncy and bubbly as herself was taken down a few pegs in a sort of pre-mourning. Truth be told, despite Winterhymns having arguably the best medical care in the area, she thought Goldenpaw would die.
But he didn’t. Her reflection stared back at her in choppy pieces as the discens stared over the side of the boardwalk, not sure why she was there or how she even ended up looking at the water now. Sort of an autopilot move, she supposed, too absent minded to go about her usual shenanigans. Of course, the sound of more paws caused her to move her gaze behind her, head looking over her shoulder with a twitch of her curled whiskers. ”Golden Boy?” Sunny blinked, rubbing her eyes with a small white paw as if she might have thought she was seeing things. But no, Drayden saw him too. ”Shouldn’t you be resting, hon? It wasn’t exactly a small injury you got.” [b] |
