Considering Gordon didn't like going outside of the Tribe's camp without someone familiar with her, it had been quite easy to notice Kainan's disappearance. Though she assumed that he was sick and recovering in his own den and didn't really want to bother him and as such, never went to check up on him. Besides, even if he was sick, there wasn't much Gordon could do for him other than alert Vanya.

Speaking of Vanya, he called out for the Tribe to gather around him and Gordon was suddenly aware of the worst. The thought that immediately sparked within her head was that Kainan was dead and that Vanya either discovered his body or killed him. But no, no... surely Vanya wouldn't do anything like that? Gordon listened to Vanya's words, her worries slightly lessening when he announced that there was a strange scent on the border, meaning it was likely someone had taken them.

"If-if he's been taken," Gordon squeaked out, her voice trembling. Fuck, she hated it. "Sh-shouldn't we be more, um, vig-vigilant? I-I mean, we shouldn't, like, g-go out looking for th-the group, I-I wouldn't think..." She got quiet, aware of how terrified and pathetic she sounded. Gordon flattened her ears and shrunk back, wrapping her tail over her paws in comfort, trying to ease her growing anxiety.[glow=COLOR,1,400]✧*:・゚[/glow]

Re: at odds - open, discovering the missing - Aeternus - 05-11-2021

He hadn’t been here long...and yet Aeternus had quite a lot to owe Kainan. It wasn’t every day that he met a creature so intimidating and respected, much less one that didn’t eat him on the spot for disturbing the peace with his interesting way of introducing himself to the lands of the Tribe. And in such a short time span, he had come to associate the hybrid with, well, his life? A new start? Whatever it was, he had grown attached quickly and to hear that he had been taken but someone, anyone with less than kind intentions, made his stomach turn over in fear and dread. ”We can plan something. Or send a scout, I’m a good navigator, and no one has anything to gain from my mistakes! I can find Kainan.” Was he sure, or was this just an attempt to pay back his life debt? Unsure. The main issue at hand was the Tribe returning their Spirit Watcher safe and sound, where he belonged.

Gordon shrunk back at Vanya's comment about leaving Kainan at a place that can harm him. No, of course she wouldn't want that to happen. "I-I'll stay here. K-keep watch." Not really much she could do if something happened but... she didn't want to go on the patrol into enemy territory, that's for sure.[glow=COLOR,1,400]✧*:・゚[/glow]

"Tell Muse what to do." they were late but their voice was strong, accented but strong, as they approached the group. They flicked their ears. "Muse is no stranger to capture, but they want to know what to do."
