Wyvern was sick n fuckin' tired of sitting around. Her back might ache, but she couldn't sit here and stand the fact that all these other people- her brothers, other apprentices- surpassing her. Her eyebrows were drawn against the sun as she stepped out of the house. Her shoulders gently flexed and moved, before looking up. A shadow hovered overhead, and quickly, Wyvern was tearing down the boardwalk, her eyes set forward and terror in her optics.
And.. behind her, chasing her.. was a crow. A simple crow, arcing after the pretty sparkly bandages that Wyv sometime sported. Today was her unlucky day to wear them, apparently. But as she barreled down the boardwalk, there was quite a bit of damage left in her wake. NPCs were bowled up, cowering away from Wyv as she screamed past them. The crow dove at her, picking at her back, and every time she smacked into a chair, a flower pot, something. By the end of the boardwalk, the crow finally lost interest, and Wyvern had flopped over. She picked her head up, looking back down the boardwalk. There was a collection of NPCs injured, laying over on the side as others came to check on them. Flowerpots, benches, tables, a small collection of clothes and accessories- all of it scattered, destroyed, tossed over. Wyvern grimaced, slowly picking herself up, ears flattened and eyes diverted from everyone's harsh gaze. "speech" Re: you had a halo - boardwalk tear-up - rhosmari - 04-29-2021 There was a commotion, a sudden sound of running paws, screeching. Animals being tossed to the side. Pots breaking, everything going into chaos. The small tom would blink his eyes as he listened to what was happening. Tilting his head a bit he finally left from where he had been resting to see Wyvern running from a crow. The black bird pecking at her bandages and potentially hurting her back. His eyes widened, a sudden sense of anger pulsing through him at the mindless creature. His pupils became slits as he watched the avian. Reminded of the eagle that had tried to take him and take his crown. But this time it was a bird hurting his family and making them feel fear. That could not stand. It shouldn't. Even as small as he was he felt like this was wrong and the flash was sudden and sharp. Merciless. As lightning came from the sky it would strike the crow with ferocity, killing the bird who had tried to escape from the scene of the crime. The black feathered body fell to the ground with a quiet thud. Golden stared but only for a moment, turning his head at the more important issue. The safety of his sister. Carefully and avoiding the pots and other turned over mess he made his way over to her. Gently he attempted to nudge her with his nose, careful to not touch her bandages. "Are you okay Wy? The bad birdie is gone and can't hurt you no more." Re: you had a halo - boardwalk tear-up - DRAYDEN CIPHER. - 04-30-2021 [glow=white,1,400]TEST MY REALITY ! — 。+゚.[/glow]
"Whoa - hey!" Drayden exclaimed as Wyvernpaw came barreling through, with the snow leopard jumping aside at the last second to avoid being tumbled into. Though this made him back into an NPC, who snapped at him for doing so. Drayden apologized to them before watching as Wyvernpaw came to a halt at the end of the boardwalk and lightning flashing - followed by a crow falling from the sky, dead. Drayden grit his teeth together as he approached the end of the boardwalk, a frown on his face. "You already, Wiv?" The Cipher boy asked as he came closer, seeing the scratches that the crow made when it attempted to grab the she-cat, looking back at the damage Wyvernpaw had done. That'll need to be cleaned up. Well. At least it was something to do, no? Wyvernpaw wasn't going to do it by herself, that's for sure; he'd definitely offer to help.[glow=COLOR,1,400] ━ ✧*:・゚[/glow] Re: you had a halo - boardwalk tear-up - sunsetkisses - 04-30-2021 ★

That was certainly not something you see every day. Then again, Sunny couldn’t really pin anything down to expect from Wyvern just yet, but it’s not like ripping up the boardwalk was just such a potentially common occurrence or normal in any case. She’d just been minding her business, talking and laughing at something with some npcs, other apprentices from the sound of it, when one of them pointed out that someone was making a beeline to the boardwalk. There wasn’t much time to figure out who it was just yet before shit went flying, the sound of shattered pots and god knows what else echoing in her ears and making her disoriented. Of course, her luck was bad enough that day to end up in the list of casualties, just narrowly missing a bench or maybe a table coming down, thunking her in the side but that was luckily it in terms of damage. No more injured sons of bitches, not today.
”Fucking hell, what was that?” Sunsetpaw asked, not angry in the slightest but definitely shocked. The strike of lighting that came down on the bird managed to fascinate her long enough to regain her composure before she said something that could be misconstrued as hostile, tail poofed up at the strike that seemingly was just...summoned? Now that was power. A little bird killing machine. [b] Re: you had a halo - boardwalk tear-up - rowena. - 05-02-2021

Or the rapid thud of running paw steps. Only she found sound far more muted and strange when the petite hybrid found herself beneath a -- luckily -- nearly empty flower pot. Small enough to be entirely unscathed. Just stuck. And confused.

Seagreen hues blinked slowly. Trying to walk through how she ended up beneath a flower pot, but nothing made much sense. Thought she saw a blur. Maybe two. One higher. One rushing past. Quite a lot of momentum. She nosed the edge of the pot, then pushed with her paws. The downside of being the size of a cotton ball. She wasn't very strong. Thankfully she watched as a NPC's paws hooked under the rim and lifted. Freeing her. She mumbled a rushed thanks before scrambling down the path of destruction, her snow white fur messy with soil. Rowena blinked up at Wyvernpaw. "Are you hurt?" It certainly looked like it. The tiny tirone usually liked birds, but that wasn't very nice of a bird to do. © MADI Re: you had a halo - boardwalk tear-up - WYVERNKIT - 05-04-2021 WYVERNPAW PENDRAGON-DAISUKE

Her heart was beating out of her chest. Her gaze shifted up towards the crow, and that clear, definite CRACK snapped across the sky. Her eyes widened, before her ears laid back and her body shied away from the lightning strike. She felt the sting in her nose as tears started to garner themselves, but Golden's nose caused her to jump, struggling away a bit. Her eyes opened, looking towards him, gritting her teeth.
A low growl came through her throat, and she struggled to her paws, blood already dripping from her new wounds. Some of her bandages were starting to unravel. "Don't talk to me like that. I'm not three anymore." She mumbled. Her eyes diverted, those tears still sticking to her eyes. ".. Thank you, though." She twitched her nose, sniffling, before clearing her throat as the others arrived. She reached up, brushing at her eyes with the back of her paw. The rush of concerned people made her look back towards the boardwalk, her fur standing on end and grimacing. ".. I didn't do that, did I?" She questioned, her voice small and afraid. She knew that she'd likely be punished, forgetting about the corvid problem entirely. It seemed she still didn't recognize that her back was bleeding. "speech" Re: you had a halo - boardwalk tear-up - rhosmari - 05-04-2021 Still he looked down at his pass and gave a soft resigned sigh. Answering his sister with a straightforward and quiet tone. "I don't know what you mean but fine and....you're welcome." He then flicked his eyes up to look at the boardwalk, tail twitching slightly in through over the destruction thar was present. "Yeah, you made a mess. But I'll help you clean it up. Can't leave it like this." Had anyone else noticed that she was bleeding. Hmm. — Reggan

Aw, poor thing. Though she wouldn’t say that out loud, Wyvern was very clear about her stance on people babying her or treating her like something fragile. Sunny could understand that sentiment to an extent, and she wouldn’t push it any farther. However, there was the problem of the wounds and the unraveling bandages that was going unmentioned, and after quickly looking between Goldenpaw and Rowena, Sunny shook off her orange fur and tilted her head slightly with a frown. ”Your bandages are coming all undone, and you’re bleeding. One of us can help you out if you want, but you probably got it on your own, huh?” The chance at help was there, a pressing matter to be tended to either way. Didn’t want anything to get dirty and infected.
