BOY, THIS BEAT HITS SO DIFFERENT.

The heat was almost unbearable, the way the sun shown down and with her light colored pelt she was baking. She almost felt as if her skin was seared as she looked up at the sky. These conditions were bad but for them to last so long and only seemingly getting worse it seemed like it wouldn't stop any time soon. Her chest heaved and the dry air seemd to choke her. They needed to talk about this and formulate a plan. With prey starting to dwindle the Luminary had already taken up giving her meals to others. Swamp water was starting to shrink up as well. This was not looking good. If that water was going surely their clean water supply was also dwindling. Trying to swallow and get her resolve back the lioness made her way to the center of town. Her eyes narrowed and she tried to keep a steady step. She wasn't feeling too well today either but she didn't have time to rest.

"She is calling an emergency meeting!" The Luminary finally roared out before she sat down heavily. Her tail curled around her last and she shook her head. Trying to clear the haze. This was important. They needed to get everything straight so that they can at least prepare for the long run of this weather. As others began to gather her vision swam but she ignored it. Pulling back her shoulders. "This weather...she can see that it is getting bad. We need to begin collecting as much water as possible and try to find a way to store food. Food can not be left outside as it will rot very quickly in the heat of the sun. A store house is much preferred. She would like a hunting patrol to try and gather what they can. Do not over do it as this heat is getting stronger by the day." Each movement of her body sent up puffs of dust from the dry and baking ground. It definitely didn't look good.

Moth is missing. She will ask for search pstrols to other groups..." A pause, one that she slowly blinked before trying to come back to her senses. "Other groups... We need to find her." Her brow furrowed as she looked down to her paws, struggling with her own consciousness. She felt sicker and the edged of her vision were going darker. Tunneling. "This meeting....this meeting..." She couldn't get the words out. She was getting confused before suddenly it struck and she passed out, her chin colliding with the ground.

Something was wrong. Extremely wrong. The heat was getting worse. Extremely worse. Even Requiem was unnerved. It happened over a span of a few weeks, rapid heat. The call. Emergency. Yes, what else could this be? But she could see Elsweyr's face, the heat was getting to her. To everyone. But it was bad. So, so bad.

She paid attention, eyes focused on her mother for signs of something wrong. At the announcement of Moth's disappearance, her body stiffened. That meant... that... And then Elsweyr dropped. Her paws moved on her own, an energy surging in them. Urgency. "Pretty-Mother!" She yelped, skidding to a halt next to the lioness. She couldn't do anything but call for help. "Someone get Seven! Get Elsweyr to Moth's house, Seven can help." She simply yelled to the group that had gathered. Don't just stand there! Don't just stand there!

Colere Kokytos

The hell? His red eyes flicked towards everyone before looking back at Els, passed out onnthe ground. "Don't just stand there, help her" he snapped towards the members that stood there before quickly being the third to approach Ares and Ximen "She needs water to cool down and we need to move her to shade unless Moth's house is close by" the male said coolly. He wasn't much of help, he was too small to help carry and due to his limp, too slow to get any shade.

His tail flicked slightly, why did he cared anyways? This wasn't his problem, it was the healer's issues, if there was a second one around. Slowly he backed up a bit. "Check her temperature, I'll go find water for her, in case anyone wishes to join I'll be heading out quickly as possible" he stated. They're fine, Els might be his leader but he hardly knew her and he would just tell himself that it was not his problem over and over again. His golden gaze darken as he took a few steps away "Who ever does come, I hope at least one of you know where Moth's house is" he grumbled.


"Speech"  Thoughts

The heat was getting worse, but Atbash had to keep reminding her that this would end soon. Hopefully. The savannah was slowly losing hope and she worried that maybe she and Elsweyr had lied to Starmap when they both told her that the rains would come. Atbash was silent at first when she came to the meeting, but jumped up quickly as Elsweyr fell into unconsciousness. Shit! The savannah rushed to the Luminary's side, focusing hard on the limited amount of water surrounding camp. With as much as she could muster with exhaustion, Atbash use her elemental powers to manipulate dew and water - the little of it that was around - and moved her paw towards Elsweyr's head, attempting to splash the Luminary. At least to try and cool her down a little bit.

Paradox had only just arrived to the tail end of the meeting when Elsweyr ended up collapsing in front of them. Panic quickly errupted within the group, the sun's rays that beat down on them not at all helping anything. Lust quickly looked around, gaze frantic as they questioned what they should do to help but it almost seemed as though everything was taken care of. The panther took notice of the panicked lioness near by, their paws picking up and drawing the feline closer to Chalice. They would attempt to brush their tail against her leg in a sign of greeting and comfort, hoping to help calm the other. Lust may not exactly know the lioness but they didn't appreciate seeing their clanmates distressed and there wasn't much more they could do to help the situation at hand.
