NOW I'M JADED ☆ eggs on spoons - michael t. - 04-04-2021 For the first of three holiday events that the dealer had planned out, he had decided to host a little competition. One meant to bring a bit of joy to everyone, and one that was thankfully pretty easy to set up – unlike the other two. In fact, the only supplies he had to gather were a shitload of eggs, a bunch of spoons, and some wooden stakes to stick into the beach. He had tied a blue ribbon between the two stakes, in order to signify that it was the "finish line," of sorts. Then, he had set up a bunch of spoons, carefully balancing the eggs in side of them and setting them up in a row near the starting line. As he worked, the male could already feel several interested pairs of eyes on him, wondering what he was up to. He just offered them calm smiles before he was done setting up, gaze gleaming with mischief before he finally stepped back. Turning to face those that had been watching, the thief announced with a broad grin, "Hey, everybody! I'm hosting a few events to celebrate Easter this year, and this is the first one of them! It's pretty simple – it's a race. The first one to get to that goalpost—" He gestured a paw towards the finish line, a pleased hum leaving him, "—Wins first place, and bragging rights. However, there's a bit of a twist. See these spoons here? The ones with the eggs? Yeah, you have to be carrying one of those in your mouth when you cross the finish line. If you drop your spoon and your egg breaks? You have to go all the way back to the start to pick up a new one. Pretty simple, eh?" It was simple, but he figured it would be pretty fun. Not only that, but it would get everyone plenty of exercise before they gorged themselves on Easter candy. ( shhh just pretend this was posted on april 3rd and not april 4th ) — Reggan

The rules of this game sounded simple, but Vayne had a suspicion that it was going to be far from easy. But this didn't stop the Privateer from being excited about this event though and such, she came forward and declared, "Participating!"[glow=COLOR,1,400] ━ ✧*:・゚[/glow] Re: NOW I'M JADED ☆ eggs on spoons - daniel - 04-04-2021 Eggs...on spoons. Danny was having a hard time understanding the purpose of the game, admittedly, and even if he wanted to he was sort of under a lot of restriction physically. Straining to keep an egg from falling off a spoon was not worth potentially reopening his wounds. Although watching someone else try to balance an egg on a spoon would bring him free entertainment and keep his spirits up. This was not an easy Easter, after all.
"I'll just...watch." The canine said quietly, settling on a spot of ground nearby, but far enough to be out of the way. Wouldn't want to mess someone up or get egg to the noggin on accident. [glow=black,2,300]— ❤ —[/glow]

Most eggs outweighed her. Unless they were... From really small birds. As it were, she could probably carry a few eggs easily, but... She still wasn't fully comfortable in her own skin. [/td][/tr][/table]Besides. She hadn't really tried any racing since she was a kid. The petite dire wolf trotted over slowly. Really just present to offer an ear in friendly observation. Help Michael with the clean-up after too, if he didn't mind the extra paws. It might be fairly messy later, if enough eggs were dropped. Wary of bumping into anyone, the canine joined Danny, offering Vayne a soft smile in encouragement as the younger girl declared her intent to take on the challenge. "Good luck, Vayne." © MADI |
