[W]iskerLAEGLIN NIAZAI LINGRÉ [div style="background-color:#BG COLOR;width:90%; overflow: stretch;text-align: justify; font-size: 8pt;"] takes place after his death within a few minutes - serval body sank to the bottom by the coral and his soul changed him into a new body. Golden tiger with dragon traits: mutated mane into a ponytail that glows in the dark, ears are scaled, spines that he can make stand up and lay down along his back, back legs and hips are scaled with two tails that are like his dragon body //
the scrape of claws upon shoal, coral and rock pressing against spine, skin aching against the pressure of water. Water seeping in through cracks, darkness swallowing vision, viscous liquids sliding down gullet to fill a stomach desperately trying to empty itself. Lungs burning with the desire to live, air screaming from throat and nose. Claws digging into sediment and living aquatic life, blood filling the water as struggles frothed the water, blood white as moonlight upon water. Sharks and other predators would be alerted to such a thing, the desperate sounds escaping the creature trapped beneath the reef as it wriggled to escape. Bursting forth as rock slid and loosened around form, water sliding through claws and webbed toes, finding traction for long reaching strides to surface. Water bursting over head, jaws spread to hurl out the water that had invaded into the airways so painfully. Paddling, senses screaming for the shore what felt leagues away, burning through muscles encouraged frantic movement. Golden hued the fur darkened by water, heavier than stones sinking to the bottom. Paws lashing at the surface as he inhaled his first breaths of air in what felt like a painfully long time. Oh what the gods was going on!? He could remember falling into the water, but the brine sloshing in his gut felt smaller though his lungs burned like nothing else. Calming his racing heart as he paddled in place, the male forced energy through his limbs, dragging his body towards the shore, half-frantic with the memories of the cold embrace of the water breaking over his head. Little did the former handicapped adult know, his body had changed, something he had yet to notice and understand. It was in some ways his soul screaming out that it wasnt ready yet, that there was still so much for him to do. For that very reason, he was alive, struggling and fighting as the sole survivor of his litter. His siblings were dead and gone, what did he have left to fight for? His mother was dead, his father had disappeared in their grief. He was alone again, what else was new? There were others here, those who had come to car about him - perhaps it was them that he lived on for. Maybe it was the folk he could begin to call his family that made him struggle to live. So focused was he that he did not realize he had control over his hind legs, nor that he was bigger. It was too dark to see his paws flailing before him nor the webbing between his toes, though he could feel a new amount of power and strength in his bones and muscles. Cutting through the water like a sailor, he was clueless to those who may be nearby, his ears filled with water and humming through his body, seeking the shore so desperately. Panic had yet to set in, strong were his strokes and the pained breath in his lungs. Paws scraping through sand and sediment as he came to shore, panting and choking. Crawling out, he felt the strangest thing- sand between his toes and caught between scales. Hacking up the water that he had swallowed, would he wheeze as his legs trembled, becoming aware of the fact that he was standing and that he could feel his back legs. Huffing quietly, he twisted his gaze down to his paws, seeing limbs he didn't recognize, much longer and the wrong color to belong to him. Brows furrowed, the male would cough and sneeze, shaking the water from his pelt as he felt a short gust of warm air. Twisting his paws to look them over, he cautiously pressed a paw to his shoulder, twisting to reveal the body he was within, seeing golden fur and bronze stripes, intermingled with scales claiming his back legs and splitting into two separate tails that resembled his former dragon body. Twisting his head out of curiosity, he would rumble softly, raising each paw to test his moto skills, the frantic strumming of his heart fading as he began to hear the voices around him, becoming aware of his surroundings. "What's happened to me?", he would finally break the silence, brows scrunched up. - Re: siren's whispering songs .. new body + return - rhosmari - 02-22-2021

[sup]© tikki[/sup]I DON'T CARE WHO I MIGHT HURT ALONG THE WAY, I'M FUCKING SINKING It wasn't everyday that he got to sit and witness someone sloshing their way up fron the depths of the ocean. And quite frantic too. What he saw was well, not something that he felt was pleasant on the eyes. Some hybrid he guessed and the canine tilted his long snouted head up slightly as he gauged what the hell was going on. He hadn't been there for when the other had drowned but from the looks of it to him he could be drowning right now. Two toned eyes narrowed as he watched, not offering to lift a paw to help them. Watching as the odd creature clambered onto the shore and coughed, wheezing and spitting water from his mouth. The borzoi almost grimaced as he rose to his paws and shook his head. Disturbed. But he didn't say that even though he knew he could have. Instead he merely got to his paws and stepped forward, cautiously. Shit, he wasn't good with comfort..didn't really learn that. "I don't have a clue what happened to you. All I know is that you came out of the water like a bumbling idiot." He didn't mean that as an insult but it most likely came off that way. He didn't backtrack though and instead he looked the other over. Almost scornfully before he stepped back. Someone would be able to help them right? Cause it sure wouldn't be him. "You should get someone to help you, I guess." SAUVIGNON - 11 MONTHS - PALM GLADES Re: siren's whispering songs .. new body + return - Ares - 02-22-2021 — Reggan
Re: siren's whispering songs .. new body + return - RHINESTONE. - 02-26-2021

[sup]© tikki[/sup]A REAL ONE, YEAH, SHE'S A STUNNER One moment, Rhinestonestar had been on the boardwalk, looking down. At that time, she had felt a sense of hopelessness filling her, brought on by the fact that she had watched Laeglin sink down, into the depths below. The rotting wood right in front of her paws brought no comfort, and she had been wondering what she would do. Would she have to hold a double memorial, for both Laeglin and Medusa? How would Ares cope with it all? Could she even help the girl cope in any way? The legate had never exactly been the master of her own emotions in the best of times. She was all about strategy, not addressing the dents in her armor constantly inflicted by the troubles of life. However, it wasn't as if she could just leave Ares alone to face things. It was a long journey from Tanglewood to the Glades, and the thylacine didn't want either Ares or her mother – or pair of mothers – to have to go back and forth just to provide her with some form of comfort. Rhine felt as though she were stuck between a rock and a hard place, and that wasn't even addressing her own grief over what had happened to Laeglin. With a shaky sigh, she reached up to press a paw against her own eye, trying to still the growing headache she could feel. However, it seemed as though she wouldn't be given too much longer to ponder their current situation. Just a moment later, a figure began to emerge from the water, causing Rhinestone's head to snap up in surprise. She stared downwards as Laeglin dragged himself from the waves, before standing on the shore. It was certainly a shock to see him in such a bold new form, especially when she had become so used to his past disability. She couldn't even imagine how he must've been feeling, considering he had lived for so long without his legs. It took a moment before she was able to spurn herself forward, turning and rushing past the edge of the boardwalk and down onto the shore. Her paws slipped slightly against the wet and rotting wood in her frantic rush to get down to the sand, and she was sure she'd have to watch out for splinters later. For now, however, she didn't care. All she cared about was that Laeglin was on the shore, and he was alive, and talking. He wasn't just some figment of her grieving mind. Similarly to Ares, Rhinestonestar made no effort to even acknowledge Sauvignon as she passed, although she did make sure to let her wagging tail whip right past his face as she moved around him. Even if he hadn't meant the comment as an insult, he had to know how ridiculous it was to call someone who had nearly died a bumbling idiot straight to their face. However, even Sauvignon's inappropriate behavior could do nothing to temper her joy, a grin on her muzzle as she came up beside Ares. Looking down at the girl, Rhine hesitated for a moment before speaking softly, "Ares... I'm pretty sure this is Laeglin." The thought of being wrong was a crushing one, but... it didn't seem that way. Wanting – no, needing – some kind of confirmation that this was indeed Laeglin, Rhinestone turned her brightly colored gaze towards the "stranger." She offered the other a calm smile, hoping that she didn't look too desperate as she spoke up, "Laeglin... that's you, isn't it? You look... different. Very different. But not in a bad way. It must feel... new." Her gaze drifted down to his legs, wondering how he must've been feeling. Would he be glad to have a new way to walk around, and experience life? Or would he consider it to just be a simple change from before, perhaps even a negative one? Laeglin had never seemed like the type to be proud of his now-vanished disability, but Rhinestone certainly wouldn't have blamed him if he was. After all, even if he had felt as though he were somehow useless, or lesser, the legate had never felt that way about him. Instead, she had seen him as a great person, and a valuable member of the Glades. Either way, a wide variety of questions were swirling around in her head, all held back as she waited for some kind of answer from the clearly confused other.
