DA FUNK . Frostblown merchants, Open - private - 01-21-2021

The trek here had been absolutely treacherous considering they'd never once stepped foot near the vast mountain ranges of the Iron Forged. Much less into the hearth of something so unbearably hot. The Frostblown was a wickedly cold place and seeing as several active volcanoes littered the area here, it was certainly not chilly. Alexi and their traveling companion had to ditch their coats and instead trudge along with their offerings. Ugh, kill me now, this heat...

Their short charcoal pelt had grown used to the icicles and their paw tips familiarized to the freezing temperatures of snow. Now it was hard crossing stone paths and by pillars through to the iron gate. Xi had never traversed here before and was uncertain about taking any further steps. Instead, they chose to settle there with their belongings and a loud 'whump!' as their arse met the solid ground.

Glancing back at their companion to make sure they were still following behind, Xi then checked in on the items tinkering about the satchel. Looks like everything is in working order, no tears, cracks, or holes. All that was left to do was be spotted by a passing patrol.

FIRE AND "BRYMSTONE"
He could agree, with the active volcanos and the lava flows that their territory could be rather oppressive considering the heat. Many things thrived here thought. Things that were resilient to the heat and it was a perfect breeding ground for the dragons that roamed these parts. He had to learn to get used to the heat as he was not a native to these lands and he supposed that was what most of the Ironfolk prided themselves on. Being able to survive where other's did not dare place their own paws. Today was another overcast day and the humidity and was making the Dragon rather antsy. His thick claws scraped against the stone and rock as he ventured forth from the Iron Gate and made his way towar the jungle to perhaps do some hunting. Though it was always hard for him to eat he tended to try and swallow things whole. Having no lips, well, it made it harder to keep food in his maw. Blood and other things included. He was a very messy eater. Yet it seemed he wouldn't get to get that far as he paused upon smelling the scent of a familiar group. Ah yes, he remembered them.

Turning the skull face monster would make his way toward the band of Frostblown members, purplish blue orbs seeming to shake within empty sockets as he examined them. ''Welcome to the Iron Forged. What can I do for all of you today? Though by the looks of all the things you've brought with you you're here to trade your wares. We have a plethora of items within the Sanctuary.'' The creaking and snapping of his bone jaw was audible as he curled his skeletal scorpion tail with the cracking of vertebrae.

MARGAET ELLEFSEN
FEMALE — FROSTBLOWN — MEMBER OF THE AMARANYTHNE SABER CORPS
[div style="background-color: #292727; color: white; font-family: arial; font-size: 12px; letter-spacing: 1px; text-align: justify; overflow: auto; width: 500px; height: 340px; padding: 10px;"]pausing in the middle of her pace, eyes gazing after alexi, she would give a low exhale through the nose, corps member rumbling deep from within her throat, "i've grown too used to our icefields. i'll damn near need a cut before i come to warmer lands again", the valkyrie would speak softly as she moved closer to alexi, sword present at her side. it had been a relatively peaceful travel, warmer temperatures turning to heat, her coat too thick to begin shedding so early in the year. gods help them if she did - she didn't want to stay too long in a place that she didn't have much knowledge over. the clouds overhead did nothing to appease her ill-boding feelings, the mercenary's eyes oft darting to the shapes on high playing amongst clouds, their sounds and roars causing dull vibrations to echo through the air and into the ground. too many memories with too many a scaled villain to put her at ease here.

head turning at the sound of another approaching, jaws splitting to lick her own lips, looking over the skull faced individual before them, she would inhale his scent. "greetings. we are merchants of the frostblown, and yes, we are here to trade. we are also here to get a better understanding of our allies - we know only fragments through quick interactions. please forgive us if we have come at a harrowing time.", she would murmur before twisting her head over her shoulder, ears standing up as she heard the heavier sounds of paws coming their way, the familiar hulking shape of the sage greeting her. right - they had wanted to attend this trip, to discuss other things aside from simply trade. "sorry baalal, it's faster for us to move ahead.", she would grin, seeing the half-annoyed expression on the sage's face as they let the load of goods that they carried for the merchants to slide gently to the ground, the zheng coming forward to greet brymstone in turn.

TRY TO TAKE ME DOWN
BAALAL -- NONBINARY -- THE FROSTBLOWN -- SAGE -- MEDIUM DIFFICULTY
paws sliding across warm stones, tongue slipping across jaws, weight a presence upon spine, would the tall creature come to rest behind the others, letting their package slide from shoulders built to carry heavier loads. it was good to leave behind their den, leave behind the grief of the dead to entangle themself in matters of other groups. riding along their side remained a satchel of herbs, to treat their groupmates should they encounter trouble. "it is far easier for those with lighter packages to move ahead of the pack-horse", they would rumble in response to margaret, in humor more than annoyance. turning their gaze to brymstone, they would flick an ear before giving a dip of their head, "greetings, brymstone. i apologize for not sending a bird to say that we would be coming this way, our bird has fallen injured and is better killed for food.]", they would cluck their tongue, "the rest of the feathered bastards are in training, or are too stupid to know one mountain peak from a volcanic peak.", they would sigh.

"we have had a good harvest of herbs over the winter in our greenhouse, and we have brought our extra herbs as a gift. he have many other wares to trade, of course.", they would rumble, eyes flicking to the sky as they listened to the dragons, searching for any familiar figurines between the shapes sliding in and out of clouds far above. clicking their jaws together, they would shake their head - they were too hopeful to catch a glimpse of a beast they'd seen in their travels. returning their attention to brymstone, they would offer a lopsided grin, "i hope you and yours have been well since our last interaction."
