A shiver ran down his spine, one of happiness, relaxation. Maybe even serenity and he hadn't felt that way in a long time. How long? It was too much to even count. Maybe when he had been just a child but because of Vale he felt something that wasn't deep seeded hatred. Something that didn't control him. Parting his grinning jaws he allowed a yawn to part his jaws as he left the third floor of the sanctuary. His room warm and cleaned up after he had tried to do some redecorating. His father's sword hung over the entrance, the diamond blade sparkling from the low light of the candles. He was headed down and toward the Iron Gates. They were slightly parted for file line exits and entrances right now and he slipped his way out and through the ragged narrow crags before he was out in the lava plains. Tilting his head up slightly he breathed in the air before he started his trek across the treacherous ground.
Though the way the sky looked intrigued him. There were thick clouds clinging to the skies. Dark and dense and swirling oddly. He pulled his ears forward then as he tilted his head a little. Whatever this was he hadn't seen it before. A sudden boom of thunder made the fur along his spine raise up. There had been no lightning. If he could narrow his eyes he would have. But the sky above him made him worry for the dragons and other wild animals that resided in the territory. He walked beside his father, eyes watching the swirling clouds above. The thunder crack made him wince. "This doesn't bode well, does it, dad?" He questioned, wings folded at his sides. "The clouds move weirdly." |
