FIRE AND "BRYMSTONE"
Once when he had been little he remembered coming through this path. His paws tinier and not capped with metal claws to tear hideous wounds into his enemies and prey alike. Smaller of frame and much more innocent to the world around him. He remembered being excited, seeing the hot springs for the first time. The laughter of his soot dusted lion father as he was shocked when he felt how hot the water actually was. Stinging his skin and making him hesitate to try again but after many coaxes from his adopted father he slowly slipped into the water, finding comfort in the heat. He wanted to play though and he tussled with his father, wrapped up in sodden mane before something odd had happened. The ground had begun to shake and tremor, bringing fear to the young child but his father had always been calm, always been there to reassure him.

Now as he stood here the same tremors had begun again, he wished he could close his eyes and visualize these memories within the darkness of his mind. But he supposed it was just great to have these memories at all. Because of his elementals he could feel the pressure in the earth, the bulging of terra and soil. It was seeking release and soon it would get there. The Dragon King made his way along the same path that he had once taken with his father to a geyser that was much more active than the rest. His eyes fluttered up and he looked along the crystalline waters before he sighed softly and sat down. It was here that ripples began, water slowly starting to froth and churn to a violent frenzy. His eyes followed the movements, before suddenly everything exploded in front of him. Heated water soared feet into the air in defiance of the lands. Easing the volcanic pressure of the mountains and causing a short lived rain that was followed by a misted rainbow. It was a sight to see and surely there would be another explosion soon to follow this one, perhaps weaker but still one to take note of.
