MONTHLY MEETING [ JANUARY 2021 ] - ROXANNE R. - 01-06-2021 Even after everything that had happened, the meeting place called for them which made Roxanne snort but she supposed that she would heard either way, she wanted to show everyone that the Typhoon was strong and capable of rising on their paws time after time. Goldenluxury ever hardly attended these meetings with Roxanne having gone in her place as her niece's Quartermaster but now... Well, she was going to arrive as the Captain of the Typhoon. It was a daunting thought but, the draconic feline tried to brush that away as she walked along already making her way to the meeting place with both of her ears pressed flat against her skull. Out of all the known leaders, she was certain that she was the smallest which was a bit of a jab at her ego though if anyone made fun of her then she wouldn't hesitate to turn into a dragon and fling them away. She huffed quietly with a shake of her head as she arrived at the place seeing the stone that represented the Typhoon, it grew slightly faint when a few of her crewmates started taking their spots within the crowd. Things would be different this time, their would be new faces that were taking the place of fallen leaders... Something Roxanne knew would occur but regardless, she never thought that she would be among them. She would take a seat near the tree which was her usual spot for the meetings only to wince slightly realizing that there was still some splotches of dried blood touching the roots of the tree. Rest in piss or whatever, Vigenere and the twins. She thought deciding to glance away with her whiskers twitching lightly, Roxanne breathed out quietly shaking her head "Well, let's get this meeting fucking started, I guess. Anyone whose important is here," Ah yes, she was currently present. A shit eating grin would slowly form itself onto her maw. This would be an interesting monthly meet. Re: MONTHLY MEETING [ JANUARY 2021 ] - gael - 01-06-2021 ♛ GAEL Ó BROIN Upon his arrival in the lands the groups called home, the vulpine never planned on becoming anyone's leader -- the only shred of empathy he might have to offer the new captain and luminary at this meeting. In the end, he reserved all the heartfelt care he possessed for those close to him and for those he was responsible for.He inclined his head as he took his place among the the tree; offering a twitch of his ears as Roxanne spoke. "Indeed." Ideally, this meeting would go better than the last, and the vulpine could return to the Pitt -- ideally without finding a new layer of snow on the ground. "I AM A STONE" —-- gael ó broin / faerie / ardent / lamby Re: MONTHLY MEETING [ JANUARY 2021 ] - rhosmari - 01-06-2021
She kept her distance as she came to this gathering, the charcoal king cheetah walking with care as she arrived with a light frown on her muzzle. The last time she had seen any Typhooner or even a Pitt member it had been when she had been fighting in the name of the Coalition. But now here she stood as the second in command of Tanglewood. Her croc skull covered her facial features as she settled off to the side, painted fur looking a bit ruffled. She didn't know what to expect from this gathering and truthfully she still held much agitation about what she heard of the other one. The death of both the Tanglewood and Elysium leaders had been a tragedy and one triggered because of unnecessary strain. One did not risk lives unless it was necessary and these lives lost would be felt for a long time to come. With a slow motion of her head vivid green orbs looked for her leader before she returned such eyes toward those that were gathering. For the most part she was merely here to observe and just see where everything would go. Re: MONTHLY MEETING [ JANUARY 2021 ] - SirDio - 01-06-2021 Long lost words whisper slowly to me.
I still can't find what keeps me here. MAYE TANGLEWOOD TANGLER
The lioness padded in after Elsweyr, taking a look at the meeting place with her good eye. Stiff legs lead her to the edge of the Tangler group, body sitting idly as she kept quiet. She hadn't experienced the horror of the last meet, though there definitely were words of it spreading like wildfire within the swamp town. To think, a monster capable of killing just to make a notion of strength. Righteous men spilling blood to prove a point, and for what? Meaningless bloodshed and violence.
Still did she sit idly, gentle flowers blooming by her paws as thoughts spurred. "Speech" When all this time I've been so hollow, inside. I know you're still there. — Reggan Re: MONTHLY MEETING [ JANUARY 2021 ] - Kold - 01-06-2021

The Marauder entered the meeting spot soon after Gael, Kold's white fur glistening with melting snow. Her last meeting was horrid and still she could only remember vague details. Lives taken for notion of power and resistance, monsters lurking in fur and walking as though one of them. Reunions cut short, her body burning. This meeting would be different, she was sure. So she sat toward the front, head held high. And after a moment she relaxed, appearing more approachable to an extent. "Speech" — Reggan

RHINESTONESTAR ❝ RHINE ❞ LEGATE
"TALKING" || "TELEPATHY"
The meeting place... it called to them. That was certainly a new development. Rhinestone wasn't sure what it was that beckoned him towards the gathering of various groups. Perhaps it was just the fact that the Palm Glades had finally grown so large that they had some semblance of power. Still, the serval saw little reason to flaunt this power, instead choosing to see the gathering as what it was – a moment of peace. Not only that, but it was a chance for him to show the other leaders that his group had no intent of hurting them. Past deals had been broken, and as it was at the moment, Rhine saw little reason to stir up trouble. Their territory had recovered from their own blizzard, and they no longer had to deal with undesirable Coalition visitors showing up on their borders. Honestly, Rhinestonestar saw it fully as a win-win. So, as the beginning of the month had drawn in, the legate had gathered those of the Glades that actually wanted to come with. Then, he had turned and gone, towards the place that was calling to him.

As expected, the others were quick to split up, eager to hear about the other groups and possibly make new friends. Rhine had warned them not to be overly friendly, but there were some who he was sure wouldn't follow that suggestion, such as Drifting-Feather. Regardless, his attention was not on his group as a whole at the moment. Instead, his black gaze was focused up on where the leaders sat, his heart beating steadily as it cooed at him. Taking a deep breath inward, the male didn't allow himself any room for hesitation. Instead, he leaped up smoothly, settling among towering branches as he eyed both Roxanne and Gael. He held his tongue for a moment before he dipped his head towards them, voice even and betraying no emotion as he greeted, "Hello, you two." He wouldn't allow himself to be pressured out of this, that much he was sure of. Had the Glades made mistakes in the past? Certainly, but they still had a right to be present. [div style="width: 360px; font-family: palatino; color: #2e8b57; text-align: left; padding-top: 15px; padding-left: 10px"]HOW DO YOU RUN FROM YOUR OWN MIND? The last meeting... Had been filled with death and violence. Peace broken. The petite fleshweaver found the thought of returning uneasy, but the danger was over... Wasn't it? Stryker defeated at the raid.

The deer-fox lingered close to her father, dark feathers shuffling at her sides as hazel hues flickered over each group present, lingering on the Palm Glades, then Aurum. She knew little of them, reluctant to trust anyone new. They didn't deserve any hatred from her however, and she soon shifted her hooves uneasily at the thought of Aurum leading Tanglewood. Fire and rage. She had nothing else to associate with the lion but fire and rage. Her ears flicked back and she pressed her hooves into the ground, urging small flowers to sprout and bloom beneath her. Four... Seven... Eight... Breathe. No one had any reason to stir trouble today. Hopefully. © MADI Re: MONTHLY MEETING [ JANUARY 2021 ] - rhosmari - 01-07-2021
Slowly a dark blue forked tongue slipped between liquor colored lips as the blue tinged woman watched the beginnings of the monthly gathering. She knew how it would seem, how dare the Coalition show their faces for trying to take them over. For daring to ensure their survival. Although if she was truthful with herself she knew that she didn't much care about what they would think. The damage had been done and though she had though things disastrous, it eased a little. Perhaps only just a little. The land that had ripped was their own now and they had essentially destroyed what used to be Elysium lands. It was theirs. And it would remain their's for generations to come and she would make sure of that. Stepping with ease of paws the lioness would tread into the gathering, eyes of pastel pink looking upon the appalled faces with almost a look of satisfaction. She knew they held disgust and she reviled in it. They knew their weaknesses had cost them dearly and she hoped it was a lesson that they wouldn't soon forget. She had suffered her own wounds from the empire they had created. Yet she was and would always be the bane to anyone that dared tried to touch her family. With a roll of her shoulders the ghoul would sit down and she rolled her eyes lightly at the proceedings. Knowing full well where this was all going to go. ''Oh joy to the rise of new leaders...'' She muttered underneath her breath sarcastically. Honestly she felt like she could gag as her eyes roamed over the roots where blood still lingered. Poor leaders and their masses strung up on their emotions. Re: MONTHLY MEETING [ JANUARY 2021 ] - ninazu - 01-07-2021
The heat wore on the snow leopard, turned her body from an oasis of warmth to a raging inferno beneath her fur. As she stepped into the meeting grove, her muscles spasmed and fur shivered. Ninazu licked her teeth as the white fangs elongated and lengthened, new teeth erupting out of her gums. Red blood ran down her mouth, staining the green feathers growing over her face. The Utahraptor, gleaming as though she’d trapped the cosmos in her feathers, rose on her rear legs. Her clawed hands curled, flexing and testing these odd joints, and her neon gaze tracked the attending creatures. It had taken all of them to defeat the Coalition, but her family hadn’t been defeated. Stryker would return, she trusted in him; they had temporarily vanquished him. But they had not destroyed her. Ninazu had died, twice, and resurrected herself both times. With her as the Coalition’s Kingpin, she knew she would lead them to victory time and time again. For now, however, the Utahraptor merely smirked. She stopped next to her daughter, her claws tapping the ground. She licked the last traces of blood off her muzzle with her blue tongue. “Greetings. I hope your territories are recovering well.” Ninazu spoke smoothly, but a smirk tugged at the corner of her maw. Let them all shuffle in their collective misery, too fucked individually to assist each other, like the Typhoon’s meteor had wrecked the Coalition’s territory. How the tables turn. “Stryker has… not returned. I’m sure you’re all overjoyed to hear that, aren’t you?” Her neon green eyes narrowed to slits as she spoke about her husband, and the Utahraptor’s tail thwacked angrily against an oak tree, jostling the empty branches. “I rule now, in his place.” If they were smart, they would remember Ninazu’s strategies in the Pitt. Of the villain duo, she’d always been the more inclined to calculated violence. Where Stryker fought for a goal with blitzkrieg zeal, she surgically attacked her opponent’s weak points. Until she’d been driven mad with rage, of course, and spiraled after Jervis dethroned her. But this is what lead to the crumbling of the Coalition’s empire, directly caused Stryker’s death, and she wasn’t blind to this weakness. Cold anger ruled her heart, now, its icy fist cooling her reckless fire. “The Coalition has achieved our goal. Our territory is no longer a barren wasteland, thanks to the Elysium’s generous donation. We will leave the rest of you in peace…” She smirked, and grimaced at Gael and Rhinestonestar. “Besides. If little snow flurries give you such trouble, you’ll never make it a kilometer into our freezing mountains.” |
