Natyli Roux was no stranger to growing pains. Well into adolescence, the draconic jaguar had certainly grown. She wouldn't be the smallest of her litter... Nor the largest... But she was only one left. Aside from Ry. The probable source of her present conundrum.
She felt like she was going insane. Soaked to the bone as she paced back and forth across the sand. She had thrown herself into the ocean. A desperate attempt to cool off.
Her spotted tail lashed to and fro. Mitch-matched hues flickering like a dancing flame. Feverish. Frantic. "What'd he do," she muttered furiously, "roll in burning poison ivy?"
Natyli eyed the water more, ears flicking back. She had no qualms about trying again, if not for the added irritant that was wet sand, beginning to stick to her fur. Coarse. Rough.

It had been some time since Michael had spoken to Natyli, and that was for good reason. His niece had been understandably pissed off at him after his little leaving and coming back stunt, and he hadn't wanted to force things to get better. He knew that would only end up making her angrier, and push reconciliation off even further – until eventually it maybe didn't even happen. However, he found that he wasn't able to just walk on by when he spotted the draconic jaguar out on the beach that day. He had just been emerging from his hut, ready to get some of his dealer duties done, when he noticed Natyli sitting in the sand, soaking wet with her tail lashing behind her. The thief hesitated for a moment before he approached, head tilted to one side, "Natyli...? Are you alright? You look like you're about ready to tear something to shreds. Or someone..." Her antsy energy was serving to make Michael even more anxious than usual, wondering if he had done something to further anger her. Though, if he had done that, he was sure Roxie would be beating down his door.

"Careful Michael. That someone might be you," Came the teasing voice of Roxanne as she couldn't help but notice that Natyli looked irritated or something was clearly bothering her and Michael had been passing by so Roxanne decided to see what was the problem. With both ears perked forward, the Quartermaster tried to see what the issue was though she was unable to tell only to find a frown on her maw deciding to take a few steps towards her cub. She knew how troubling it was to be the only one left aside from Ry from their litter, it troubled Roxie as well, she missed Jaime and Eulia dearly yet she was uncertain if they would return to them. It had been months since Jaime had passed away and Eulia being gone. She tried not to think about it for too much but it was hard not to think about it. Roxie held her breath feeling that she hadn't been a good enough mother as of late even if she never voiced these thoughts.
She drew near attempting to nudge Natyli gently as the small draconic feline would speak "What's troubling you, sweetheart?" She finally said with a frown on her maw.
