MICHAEL TOWNLEY
THE TYPHOON
DEALER
This was a bad idea, and Michael knew it. The last he had seen of Trygve had been before Michael had attempted to leave The Typhoon, something that had simply been a poor decision all around. Ultimately, he ended up being glad that he had been dragged back by Seapaw and Roxanne. He wasn't sure where he would be now if he had successfully left, but he didn't like to think about it. He was happy now, with his position as dealer, his husband at home with him, and his new children being lovingly watched over in his care. This whole time, however, he had known that he had unfinished business lingering at the back of his mind. He hadn't even given Trygve a proper goodbye, and there was no way that the other knew that he was back – he hadn't heard any news of Ry coming back to visit, not since he had seemingly disappeared. Not only that, but if the other hadn't returned for any kind of visit since then, that meant that he didn't even know about his new cousins, or siblings, or anything else that had happened within The Typhoon for quite some time.

Ultimately, the male knew that he probably wouldn't be well received by Trygve. In fact, he was probably about to be horribly cussed out by the other. Despite this, Michael held a sense of determination in his heart, which was enough to drive him to make the long journey from the Typhoon's island territory to the Pitt's desert one. While he wasn't pregnant anymore, he had still chosen to come in his melanistic coyote form, mainly for the sake of some amount of anonymity. While he would still be introducing himself under his real name, he didn't want anyone who had known him when he had been a member of The Pitt trying to cause shit. Not that any of them were really still alive or around, unbeknownst to him. Either way, it wasn't too long before he eventually arrived at The Pitt's border, bushy tail flicking from side to side behind him as he eventually sat down in the shade of the sparse trees. It was still hot as Hades throughout the Pitt's territory, and no matter what he did, he knew that his dark black pelt was of no help to that particular situation.

Despite not wearing his usual pound of jewelry in his coyote form, Michael still had a few things that made him distinctly recognizable. These included the emerald charm earring that he wore on his right ear, as well as the silver wedding band that sat on his paw. He could only hope that the few trinkets that stuck out wouldn't cause Trygve to try and attack him on sight. Either way, the dealer was willing to take that risk, clearing his throat and calling out into the territory in front of him, "Hello? Is there anyone nearby? My name is Michael Townley-Phillips, and I'm a dealer of The Typhoon. I've come to talk to Tryvge Roux... I'm not here to cause any trouble, trust me." His voice rang out through the trees, higher in pitch than it usually would be. He couldn't really help that, however, considering his coyote form was biologically female.

GAEL Ó BROIN
A Pittian by the name of Michael had become a vague memory to the vulpine -- inconsequential.  He certainly recalled a Michael from the Typhoon however, ears flicking at the sound of the pirate's arrival.

Gael furrowed his brow, thinking of Trygve's last visitor -- the news Roan brought had been unhappy indeed.  Golden-hazel eyes narrowed, distinctly lacking the 'trust' the coyote requested.  Pirates hardly deserved trust, as far as the faerie felt.

The youth should be resting, but the Ardent knew Trygve would still be likely to show.  Staying still did not suit the boy, even when it was good for his health.  He doubted he or Aine could scold him enough to change that -- not that Aine didn't seem to suffer the same antsy affliction.

"Michael." Gael inclined his head.  "I will leave it up to Trygve, if he wishes to speak to you."  If not, the vulpine would have no hesitations in escorting the dealer away.  They had no need for pirates lingering in their territory.

THE GOLD IS SLEEPING IN THE RIVER
His tufted ears twitched at the sound of a familiar voice, his snout immediately wrinkling as he realized who it was and he rose to his paws rather quickly wincing briefly when his muscles hurt. So he had stuck around? Good for him, he supposed, the draconic jaguar made his way over only to see that Gael was already present hearing what the vulpine had said. Trygve would've simply not shown up or told Gael to send Michael away if he had been any other person but, he was not to Michael's misfortune. With mottled tail lashing behind him, Trygve's narrowed pupils would stare daggers at his former mentor not a single shred of warmth shown to the melanistic coyote as he stood there silently. Trygve wanted to say a lot of shit, he wanted to hurt Michael just as the other hurt him. He wanted Michael to feel what he had felt when he had left him a stupid letter... But he was better than Michael and he was going to prove it by being there in person.

"Must be nice when you're approached by the person you're looking for rather than getting a letter, huh?" The draconic jaguar began with his lips peeled back into a snarl though he would let those words sink in before he decided to continue speaking "What the fuck do you want, Michael?" His claws dug into the sand underneath him, the burning in his chest only growing stronger with the feelings he felt yet he shoved it all down letting it burn him from inside. Not like anyone from the Typhoon cared... Not like Michael cared. Even Roan had came in person to tell him about Jaime rather than simply sending a shitty letter. He could feel a bit of blood dripping from his nose but he lifted a paw to wipe it away without saying much of a word. "Make it quick before I personally throw you into the ocean." The draconic jaguar shifted his wings a bit, Michael wouldn't be that hard to lift up and both of them knew this. Once empty threats... Didn't seem as empty as before.

MICHAEL TOWNLEY
THE TYPHOON
DEALER
Gael being the first to arrive caused Michael to momentarily tense up, although not because he thought the vulpine would attack him. He knew Gael was smarter, and more reasonable than that. Instead, he was worried he was about to be sent away, only for the new ardent to settle his worries, at least for a moment. The coyote then nodded, speaking softly, "Thanks, Gael. I'll go if he wants me to." He hoped that Trygve wouldn't want that, but he knew there was a fair chance of it happening. Sure enough, when Ry did arrive, it wasn't exactly with kind words to say – not that Michael had truly been expecting them. The dealer winced, his ears flicking back against his skull before he muttered, "Yeah... yeah, it is. You're right." He knew that he had fucked up by leaving a letter – Rox had told him that about a thousand times over by now – but it wasn't as if he could go back in time. He couldn't change the past, which meant that he had to at least try and reconcile things for the future. He just really hoped that he could stop making stupid, shitty mistakes, so that he wouldn't need to keep doing this.

Briefly pawing at the sand beneath him, the dark black coyote seemed to search for words for a bit before he finally spoke in a quiet bark, "I guess... I guess I'll get the news out of the way first. My pups were born. They're all safe, and healthy... all boys, too. I hope you'll get to meet them, at some point." He then shifted, the thief immediately feeling uncomfortable talking about himself with Ry. Moving on, he quickly refocused, "More importantly, though... your mom had kids again. With Diya. They're real sweet. I'm sure she'd love to have you come see them, considering she doesn't know where you are, when you're out here. I know she misses you..." His sister didn't mention Trygve as much these days, but he knew that wasn't from a lack of caring. What exactly was she supposed to say, when her son was supposedly out on Haven Island, but missing 90% of the time? Shaking that thought from his head, he took in a nervous breath before moving on, this time to the important part, "And... I guess I came to say that I'm sorry. For everything. For trying to leave, for not going and talking to you in person, for not talking to you first in general. I just... I thought it would be easier, if I left without talking in person, since I knew all of you would try to get me to stay. Hell, the only reason I did end up staying was because your mom and Sea tracked me down, and made me come back. I thought I needed to leave, so that my pups would be able to have their entire family together in one place, but then Trevor came to live in The Typhoon, and everything just sort of... clicked. Of course... not entirely, since you're not there." He truthfully wasn't sure if he could ever make things right with Trygve, but he did have to try. And he was really sorry about what he had done, even if he was bad at expressing it.
