ALIA CIPHER-VANTAS
THE TYPHOON
MINNOW
[[ this is my first mobile post in a while so forgive any mistakes or spelling errors lol ]]

When the child had been born she knew not what her mother would be like to her children. Though most would call it cold and uncaring in some aspects, it was all Alia knew.

Aphra did not like being called mom or mommy, so Alia had stuck with calling her mother or by the adults name depending on the day, though she was under the assumption she got a tiny bit more leeway than her two other siblings in the regards of little things like that, though it couldn’t be proven. What Alia did know was that her mother had raised them until they were able to go off on their own, though didn’t throw them to the wolves, and she had named them and allowed them to still live with her, at least for the time being.

Walking around the camp the three month old was confused by the sites she saw, watching the other parents lovingly speak to their children and walking them around, playing with them. It confused the young bengal mix, but she’d simply shake her head to clear her thoughts for now. She came here to do something after all.

H-hello?” Alia would call out, ears pinning to her head and tail flicking awkwardly in slight anxiousness, “My name’s Alia... did anyone here wanna be my friend?” Would her mother likely hate this display? Yes. Did Alia care? No, she was a child.

If I fall, get knocked down, pick myself up off the ground
New the voice that called.  So unsure.  The dealer's ears perked, her pale hues softening at the sound.  Alia.  The tiny fae trotted forward, following the younger girl's call.  "Aloha, Alia."  Her own is soft but friendly as she speaks, curious about the hesitant-sounding child.  Seeking friends.  Well.  Keona knew she could be quiet... A little serious... But she would not ignore a child's plea for friendship.  She cherished her friends dearly.  Thankful for them daily.  Alia deserved a friend too.

"'m Keona.  But... My friends call me Keo... So you can too now, if you'd like."

Re: DANCING QUEEN;; open - introduction - ROXANNE R. - 08-27-2020

me dejaste, me dejaste en un tango
Roxanne had been there for the arrival of Aphra's kittens and frankly, they were rather precious and the small femme thought they were all too cute to be related to someone as ugly as Aphra, personality and appearance wise. The draconic feline would approach with both ears perked forward already seeing that Keona was already there, a soft sigh leaving her lips though her mismatched gaze was soft and maternal recalling how Roan had been that small once. "Hola Alia," Began the older queen, her whiskers twitching as she would take a seat near Keona only to continue to introduce herself "My names Roxanne... But I'm called Roxie for the most part," Everyone called her Roxie for the most part, well, except for her girlfriend who lovingly called her Pop Rox. A flutter rising in her chest at the mere thought of being in a relationship. Girlfriends. Her mind seemed to drift away in that moment but she would snap back to reality.

Friends? Oh, this kitten definitely wasn't related to Aphra. Roxanne refused to believe it as she would add with a nod of her cranium "I'd love to be your friend, Alia." It reminded her how Roan had wanted to make so many threads as a child and now, well, he was a bit secluded to say the least but he was getting out there more. Which she was thankful for, she cared about her son after all. "Maybe you could come over one day and make cupcakes with me and Suitekit. If you'd like that, of course." And Diya, of course, since it was their shared home.

EN EL ALMA SE ME FUE, SE ME FUE EL CORAZÓN
YA NO TENGO GANAS DE VIVIR, PORQUE NO TE PUEDO CONVENCER
QUE NO TE VENDAS, ROXANNE

Re: DANCING QUEEN;; open - introduction - roan ; - 08-27-2020

Roan had not had the most traditional childhood, but one couldn't truly call it bad. Just... different. His father had always been more of a shadowy presence, and while his mother had always been around, doting on him, he also knew that she had responsibilities of her own to attend to. He had actually ended up understanding more easily than most kits, considering he hadn't been too old when he had initially been promoted to the position of sage. At that point, he had his own responsibilities to worry about, and he had somewhat drifted away from his mama – although he would never go so far as to call them estranged. It also definitely wasn't as distant as Alia's relationship with her own mother would likely be. After all, Roxanne Roux was a loving and kind mother, while Roan had been forced to find out the hard way what a cold-hearted and callous liar Aphra was. He could still remember the rage in his heart that had festered after what she had pulled at Sam's death, and the betrayal that had rotted him from the inside out. He prayed silently to whatever deity above could hear him, hoping that Alia would never turn out like her demonic mother.

Making his way over when he heard the child's gentle call, it wasn't long before Roan took up his usual spot at his mother's side. He brushed his wings against his mama's side gently in greeting, practically able to see the gears in her head turning as she imagined him when he had been that young. He couldn't help the soft bit of laughter that slipped past his muzzle, his head shaking before he turned his blue gaze down to Alia. The girl's striking resemblance to Aphra would certainly be a curse later on in life, but for now he shoved it down, reminding himself gently. Just because she's related to Aphra, doesn't mean she'll turn out like her. After a long moment, the soothsayer managed to summon a small smile to his muzzle, waving a paw in greeting, "Alia... that's a pretty name. I'd be happy to be your friend, Alia. I'm Roan, and I'm the soothsayer here. So if you're ever hurt, you can feel free to come and get me." He hoped that the child wouldn't be hurt anytime soon – or ever, really – but it was better to be safe, rather than sorry.

[glow=grey,1,400]FOR ONCE, WHY CAN'T YOU JUST COME AND CHASE ME ?。+゚.[/glow]
After Diya had mentioned taking away her kits, of course Aphra would be a tad defensive of them, even if she didn't particularly like them. No, her reasoning for wanting her children to stay away from the Rouxes was a petty reason - and one that was going to eventually be hard to keep track of, especially given that the Roux family practically made up the majority of The Typhoon.

Seeing Roxanne, followed by Roan, approach her daughter, Aphra came running over and tried to place a paw in front of Alia in the process. The oriental longhair's icy gaze flickered from Keona, Roxanne, and Roan, taking them in for a moment; she didn't particularly care for Keona (fortunately or unfortunately, depending on the rusty spotted cat's opinion on her) - but Roxie and Roan were people that Aphra did not want around. "Alia is fine, she doesn't need to go over your house." Aphra hissed to Roxanne, glaring at the other mother.

Of course if Alia were ever to get injured, Aphra couldn't stop Roan from trying to help her - or well, she could, but likely wouldn't, but that still didn't sway the she-cat's distrust of him nonetheless. I need to let them know not to trust the Roux family. Aphra noted to herself, his tail flicking before she sat down beside Alia, now trying to pull [member=16096]ALIA C.V.[/member] close to her, and if successful, Aphra tried to give Alia a reassuring lick.

"Chin up, dear. No need to act so shy." A condescending remark, perhaps, but Aphra wanted her children to be confident in themselves. After all, they were a product of her, so why should they hide themselves?[glow=COLOR,1,400]✧*:・゚[/glow]

Eyes flickered to each individual that came over to the girl's call, ears pricked and excitement clear in her eyes. "Thank you Keo..." The inside of her ears turned red and warm from her excitement at a friend, though she tried to keep it contained, paws couldn't help but shuffle and tail twitch from the thought of someone she could call a friend outside of her siblings.

When Roxanne and Roan came over to speak towards the girl, she listened carefully to their words, realizing then that there were two that had sounded familiar, spoken by Keo and now the Roxanne lady, "Aloha, and hola?" She would question quietly, brows furrowing for a moment before she continued to listen, head nodding at the mention of cupcakes and another kitten. Quickly she'd begin to take a step forward before there was a sudden paw there, and the tug of paw on her body as the small kitten was scoot towards her mother, a lick soon following on her head.

Ears pinned for a moment as the female spoke, but she would nod her head and puff out her chest. "Oh, okay I will." She would speak, chin lifting up in response. She shouldn't by shy in front of mother.
