cemetery is just another word for bone shop

Argus walked through the jungle with motive; their form resounded with the clattering of effects that was hung by their suspended maw. A cloth sack that was tearing through the seams. White bone shone through, metal brazen between the linen. It wasn't to big, but bigger than the ordinary dweller of the group.

Argus claimed themselves a small spot amung the hustle of the shops. Argus didn't care for the currency - and a few patrons had expected. The dragon turning away anyone who had nothing but coin - not even allowing them to view the dragon's own wears without at least something interesting ; an item, a scar - stories, tales, argus hoarded them close to their heart ; and was selling other's for a piece of their own.

The stand was set up as a small raised platform which the dragon circled. Wings flaired to block most of it from sight and tail curling around it fully. Within the table-like platform were carved bones with symbols. meant to be for protection ; charms of the dead: to ward against all things, curses, misfortune - whatever some people believed - some of them were true to the beast.

the shops in the pitt were commonly roamed by august even before kydobi had laid claim on the terrier. often did he help them set up in the morning, carry stock, and break down at night for whatever leftover scraps he could get. he remembered the one time he had helped a vegetable cart for the entirety of a day, just to be left in the dust with a rumbling belly to go home hungry.

no longer did he spend his nights sniffing for food. at that current moment, auggie was full on the leg of a deer. something he had never been able to eat before. it was rich with texture and flavor. not bland or boney. he very much liked the way his life was turning around.

still, he found habit of visiting the one of many places he called 'work'. argus was new, though. he had never worked nor seen her shop before. curious, he padded toward the beast.

"i don't have money, but uh... can i look?" he questioned, standing on his hind legs to balance his forepaws on the table, his chin resting on the platform.
