Re: THE HOUSE OF THE RISING SUN / raid - Atticus Roux - 12-28-2020
The crack of a neck and clacking teeth sounded out from the mind controlled feline. With a sharp inhale and no thought that followed, paws began to traverse forward into the battlegrounds at the sound of crashing waves and boats colliding with the shore. Golden hues surveyed the crowd jumping off of the deck's in an attempt to find a suitable opponent. A blinding canine caught his eye. He seemed small, skinny, and vulnerable, signifying the mindless' feline's final choice as he paraded forward.
Atticus's haunches pushed off of the floor and dove towards his enemy. Sharp claws stretched outwards. They attempted to swipe viciously at Quasar's face, supposedly leaving large gashes and potentially taking out the eyesore's eye. Re: THE HOUSE OF THE RISING SUN / raid - METEOR - 12-29-2020 The apprentice caught a flash of movement, a blur of grey and white fur, a little thing dripping golden rage. Nostrils flared, he jerked his head to the side, growling and grimacing as claws scored deep scratches down the side of his muzzle. The sparkledoggo’s lips pulled back in a snarling grimace, blood running down his teeth and drowning his nose in a metallic haze. Yellow lines zipped between his ears. Blood’s taste-smell wrapped over his senses like a red filter; his thoughts became the copper taste and sticky smooth perfume. Quasar lunged at his attacker, leaping forward with green paws outstretched. He aimed to slam a paw on the smaller feline, pin the opponent in place, as saliva and blood flew from his maw. If Atticus attempted to dodge to the side of Quasar’s wounded face, the canine’s other paw was ready for the same slam. Independent of his will, electricity crackled between his ears and zapped forward toward Atticus’s face. The strike wasn’t enough to maim or kill, but it would be a disorienting electrical jolt. [member=11957]ATTICUS ROUX[/member] Re: THE HOUSE OF THE RISING SUN / raid - ROXANNE R. - 12-29-2020 Roxanne flew above the boats only to realize someone was throwing rocks did she decide that it was time to put that new body to use, the draconic feline let out a soft growl before her bones began to snap and she grew larger feeling the electricity beginning to bounce off of her jaws. The dragoness let out a thunderous roar as she flapped her powerful wings, she was already making her way over to that lion throwing all the rocks at the boat only to attempt to send a bolt of electricity at him to scare the brute away or possibly stun him. Her focus didn't last long on Romulus but those below her though it shifted when her niece seemed to be making her way to the captain's quarters, Roxanne felt her chest tightening so she did not hesitate in following Goldenluxury only to see that both Stryker and Ninazu were there as well. Snakes had slithered their way onto the boat, they were somewhere that they didn't belong. Roxanne wouldn't hesitate in getting rid of them either. The dragoness would land on the ship with a low growl leaving her jaws as she would offer a toothy grin to both lions "Remember me?" Though she did shrink down to her tigress form and closed her wings until they fell on her side neatly with both eyes locked onto the pair of lions feeling her lips peeling back into a snarl. Two against one wasn't much of a fair fight so Roxanne promptly invited herself to even things out. Snakes never played fairly to begin with, she let out a snort before charging forward as another roar would erupt from her. She could gore them with her horns or perhaps electrocute them. There was many options but there was no one that she'd let the two snakes step all over her niece's ship. It seemed that Goldie wanted the two snakes out of her room and Roxanne would help as she said "Here, I'll give ya a complimentary Roux nudge!" Without another word, the tigress slid forward and rolled until she was underneath Stryker if she had managed to pull that off, Roxanne would lift her hind legs aiming to kick [member=1738]STRYKER[/member] in the stomach with all her strength and possibly launch him outside of the captain's quarters. If she managed to pull that off, she would rise to her paws quickly. Re: THE HOUSE OF THE RISING SUN / raid - Simon F.M. - 12-29-2020 //gore warning Fighting was well on its way, the sounds of snarling animals and the scent of freshly fallen blood sending shivers down her spine. The beast that lived deep within her heart began to squirm, begging to be released, begging to be allowed to rip and tear. It was a quick decision for the feline, one she did not make lightly. She would allow herself to give in, under the promise that no Typhooners would be harmed. Pleasure filled her mind as she stalked slowly forward, a clear change in how Diya's body moved as she allowed the feral instincts of the vampire within to take over. A quiet rumble within the beast's chest as eyes grew slitted and teeth were bared for all to see. Forward did it pace, holding back a snarl as to not reveal its position. Pale blue eyes landed on the unfamiliar black pelt of Brutei, the revolting stench of the coalition reaching its sensitive nose. A wicked grin crossed its face as it launched with a screech, darkly colored claws outstretched and seeking flesh. Purchase did they make within the other feline's darkly colored pelt, deep shredding tears following the sharp claws as they tore through the flesh. With the success, Brutei was pinned to the ground, the beast finding joy in the way he struggled. Something within the beast snapped, perhaps that last shred of inhibition. With a pleased hiss, the beast ran their claws down the other's side as they lunged forward, elongated canines sinking into the Wanderer's throat. Blood began to leak out from the gaps between maw and throat as the vampire took in a quick meal. After its very quick meal, in place of simply releasing, the beast reared up with the smaller feline still grasped before slamming it back down, feeling the throat give way between elongated canines. With satisfaction, the body fell limp to the ground, shreds of the throat spat out after it. The beast lifted it's head, grinning towards Roxanne in the distance with blood splattering its normally pale white coat. Elongated fangs jutted out past open maw as they laid eyes on fiancee, as if seeking approval. Ears swiveled, listening for approaching attacks seeking revenge for their fallen ally. //powerplay permission given Re: THE HOUSE OF THE RISING SUN / raid - roan ; - 01-01-2021 SOOTHSAYER ❝ ROAN ❞ THE TYPHOON
Roan hated fighting. He had hated it ever since he was a kit, watching his family suffer as a result of endless fights, and cruelty. His opinion of battle hadn't changed since then, but he certainly knew that it had its time, and its place. And in this case... with this fight, things were definitely warranted. The Typhoon had a home to take back, and although Roan knew he couldn't do all that much on the fighting front, he wasn't about to just hide away. He needed to make sure that he could help his friends and family, even if they got injured while they were out on the battlefield. He couldn't afford to let even a moment pass by, since each and every one of them would be useful for making sure things didn't get any worse. Even as the fighting erupted outside the temple, Roan didn't shy away from it, instead just grabbing his bag firmly in his jaws and rushing out into the open air. He let his satchel slip down against his side as he leaped into the air, his wings catching onto the breeze and lifting him upwards as he moved to survey things from above. His blue eyes were cold and calculating, wondering where he should choose to soar down.
He looked everything over, seeing Diya come down brutally upon Brutei. Perhaps if they had been in a different situation, he would've felt bad for Brutei, or winced at the terrible violence that was going on. However, Brutei was a member of the Coalition, and considering who he had chosen to ally himself with... he deserved that death. He let out a shrill whistle of approval in Diya's direction, before his aqua gaze zeroed in on Atticus, and Quasar. He didn't like the Glades – they had helped to bring this about, after all – but at least they had decided to do the right thing now. That was enough for Roan to consider them a boon, and thus part of what he needed to protect. So, with a low hiss from the back of his throat, the soothsayer came to land near where Quasar and Atticus were locked in combat. He called to Quasar, claws digging into the earth as he kept himself stable, "Hey, you! Palm kid! If you need any healing, come over to me! I'll help!" At the moment, however, Roan wasn't content with just standing on the sidelines. He did that ninety percent of the time, and now wasn't the time for cowardice. With a snarl, the medic was able to feel power welling up in his chest, sparks growing along the edge of his jaw, dancing between the gaps in his teeth. He briefly closed his eyes, allowing himself to focus the electricity around his front limbs. Attention turning from Quasar to Atticus, Roan dove forward and tried to lash his electrified claws across the back of his opponent's hind legs. He further attempted to reach out with his electricity, trying to shock Atticus and hopefully lock his back legs up with the sudden jolt of it all. Whether he was successful or not, the draconic feline would then stumble a few steps back, claws once again digging into the ground in order to stabilize himself. He could only hope that he would be prepared for any attacks that could come in his direction, although he wasn't too worried about it. The Coalition was clearly outnumbered, and most of the other group's attention was focused solely on Goldie and the other major players in this entire game that Stryker seemed to be playing. Re: THE HOUSE OF THE RISING SUN / raid - ninazu - 01-02-2021 BURN
BRIGHT
The ship swayed at the dragoness’s landing, and Ninazu’s ears flicked back against her skull. A growl reverberated from deep within the lioness’s chest, stirring the green flames to dance and dazzle. The guru charged, paws thump-a-thumping on the wooden boards alongside her own heart, before the dragoness had begun shrinking down. “You’re mine.” Saliva and sparks dripped off Ninazu’s fangs. Her claws unsheathed, ripping gashes into the wood, as she sprinted at full speed on the slippery deck. When the tigress slid down to the ground—stupid, to give her an advantage so easily—Ninazu swerved on a dime. Ninazu leaped and attempted to slam her front paws on Roxanne’s back, her mouth agape and teeth seaking the tigress’s throat. The green fire coating her body thrashed and exploded, raining fire in half a meter radius of Ninazu’s body. Stryker could handle himself. Her golden eyes narrowed to slits and focused at the draconic feline at her paws. Her soul’s rage demanded vengeance for drifting in death’s cold void, and she would have it! It was actually completely in character of Diego to appear far too late. Fashionably late, in his opinion, but that is of course not the point.
He wishes he could say he's angry, but he's not. Roxanne had murdered his mother and as much as he hated her for that, he understood. How could he not? But just because he could understand doesn't mean he liked it, or her. He hated her with his entire being, that was his mother, but that was all. Or maybe he just had a higher intelligence than the rest of the world, he wouldn't know. He would, actually. He's very much of a higher intelligence than the rest of the world, but that's for him to know and everyone else to find out. He huffed as he stood at the sidelines, his eyes on his mother's new form, hateful glare moving to dig into Roxanne's own form. But it wasn't his fight, and he was sure his mother could handle herself this time- she would know what to expect, in any case. Ninazu might even find it insulting for him to step in. Or maybe he's just lazy. Maybe he just wants to go back to his books, and his arm chair. Maybe he just wants to plant some trees and watch them grow. He never seemed to get what he wanted, anyway. tags + roleplayed by wag + template © star Re: THE HOUSE OF THE RISING SUN / raid - ROSEMARY - 01-03-2021

[div style="background:url(https://f2.toyhou.se/file/f2-toyhou-se/images/29111770_ubYLEwFh9z9yIY1.png); font-family: arial; background-size: cover; background-position: center; min-width: 200px; min-height: 450px;"]
Rosemary slunk in the shadows, SNEAKING UNDER THE WAVES OF VIOLENCE AND PAWS, avoiding confrontation. The fighting erupted in earnest around her, fire and electricity bursting everywhere. The screams followed in short order, drowned out by growls and the click of weapons on weapons. She hated raids. The chaos fucked with her stress levels and prevented any level of mental clarity.

SHE GLANCED TO THE SHIP, FROWNING AS SHE SAW GOLDIE AND ROXANNE’S FIGURES IN THE DISTANCE. STRYKER AND NINAZU? SHE RECOGNIZED THE COALITION’S GURU BASED ON HER GREEN FIRE, AND THE TWO ALWAYS FOUGHT AGAINST THE TYPHOON IN A PAIR. THE MEDIC KNEW BETTER THAN TO TRY AND ASSIST; SHE’D GET IN THE WAY, FUCK THINGS UP. SHE’D COME IN AFTER AND PATCH WHATEVER WOUNDS ROXANNE AND GOLDIE HAD, OF COURSE, BUT THE TWO NEEDED A CLEAR HEAD TO FIGHT WITH THOSE TWO RATS. HER FORKED TAIL LASHED. HELPLESS, SHE WAS HELPLESS IN A FIGHT, WHY DID SHE HAVE TO BE SO HELPLESS? ROSEMARY’S EAR FLICKED. SHE NOTICED ANOTHER STARING AT THE SHIP, NOT FIVE METERS FROM HER LOCATION, AND CLEARLY A LION. HE WASN’T ANYONE IN THE TYPHOON SHE RECOGNIZED. DESPITE THE BLOOD AND CRACKLING ELEMENTS IN THE AIR, SHE SMELLED THE COALITION REAK ON HIM. FUCK, HE WASN’T GOING TO GET INVOLVED AND TURN THE TIDES AGAINST GOLDIE AND ROXIE ON THAT SHIP, RIGHT? FUCK NO. SHE WOULDN’T LET THAT HAPPEN. INHALING DEEPLY, ROSEMARY WAVED HER PAW AND SUMMONED A STREAM OF WATER FROM THE OCEAN. IT FLOATED THROUGH THE AIR TOWARDS HER, THE TIP CRYSTALIZING INTO ICE. HER FOUR EYES NARROWED ON DIEGO AS SHE ATTEMPTED TO WHIP HIM WITH IT. THE MAGICAL WEAPON LOOKED IMPRESSIVE, SURE, BUT ROSEMARY HAD NO REAL IDEA ON HOW TO USE THE DAMNED THING IN COMBAT. SHE’D AIMED FOR HIS FACE, BUT SHE WASN’T CONFIDENT IN HER LUCK. [member=16858]DIEGO[/member] PEACEFALL peace comes at dawn, but yours comes at night
Re: THE HOUSE OF THE RISING SUN / raid - westley h. - 01-04-2021 Detached from the Coalition, the clouded leopard moved through the trees with little else in mind save for Summer. He knew she had grown disillusioned with the curious group they had wandered into, brought in by the torrent of the sea. When he saw her move to support two Typhoon members instead of fight, Westley finalized his choice as well. While Summer had the habit of reckless courses of action, Westley took the time to think the matter through. They would be without a home for their actions today, but he would prefer that to fighting for a cause neither he nor his young companion believed in. Now, let's just make sure we don't get too battered up today. It seemed Summer, Salem, and Keona could handle their own fro the time being, moving to the water for the advantage. Westley would slink behind them before turning on one of the Coalition. He would rather their attention be on his betrayal first than Summer's. Doubt they'll appreciate either of us regardless. Hazel eyes locked coldly on Rosemary, watching as the healer directed a ice attack towards [member=16858]DIEGO[/member]. It lacked the confidence he often saw in Summer as she moved the water, but it was a viable distraction. Pressing the chance that the wanderer would be focused on the pirate, the leopard would attempt to barrel into him, teeth and claws intent on finding purchase in flesh and tear. Cory was late, and he hated being late. Something ringing in the back of his mind, permeating his thoughts, told him to be ashamed for it. Stark hues of blue and orange lit up the sky as he made himself known, letting out a resounding hiss and roar of anger. The wyvern felt all four of his wings flutter behind him, his body dropping to the ground and whipping to view those nearby. And now? Now he wait. Wait for anyone who dared to touch him. code by spacexual |
