Re: MONTHLY MEETING [SEPTEMBER 2020] - VIGENERE CIPHER. - 09-07-2020 [glow=white,1,400]LYING THROUGH YOUR TEETH AGAIN ! — 。+゚.[/glow]
Vigenere looked over at Roan as the medic spoke, his expression clearly fazing from his normal neutrel expression to a more angry one. The fur on his shoulders twitched, his eyes narrowing at the Typhooner. "I could handle myself just fine." His words came in a hiss, clearly not appreciating the younger male's comment. "I appreciate Goldenluxury fetching me, but I could have gotten myself out given time." He was slightly less confident in this than how he made it seem, especially with the mindfuckery going on, but the way others seemed to shrug off his concerns with Caesar rubbed him the wrong way as well. But fine. Vigenere mentally huffed to himself. If they want this place to burn, so be it. At this point, as long as Caesar didn't try fucking with him or Tanglewood personally, he didn't give a shit. He heard Vale's outburst, of course, and frowned as zey appeared to put on a show with flames - it almost reminded Vigenere of his brother, how ironic. "I can assure you, he will be dead the moment he crosses our border. So no, he is not a spy for us." The mere fact that Vale assumed he'd even want to be around Caesar disgusted him - but he had to remind himself that not everyone knew of his past, nor could he expect anyone to. The way Vale twisted and snapped zir body made Vigenere inwardly wince. Do they not feel any pain? Surely, tilting zir head to one side like that, at that particular angle, had to hurt... if not outright paralyze someone. Vigenere shuddered at the thought but instead choose to focus on Jack instead. Jack had a point, as much as Vigenere hated to agree with a Pittian. "Who the fuck knows." He admitted, shrugging. He certainly wasn't willing to give out Tanglewood's information, especially with a known enemy here. "I think we should all be wary of Caesar, if what Gael says is true about how housing him -" A glance at the new Ardent before he continued, "- because I can guarantee you that whatever the hell the bastard has planned, it's not going to be good for any of us." Was it wrong of him to speak over the other leaders like this? Perhaps, but in a selfish way, Vigenere believed that he was the only one qualified to even be a leader - The Pitt was just a band of rogues, Roxanne was an assistant deputy of sorts, and Hani and Alani were... odd. The energy they seemed to put out gave Vigenere bad vibes about them.[glow=COLOR,1,400] ━ ✧*:・゚[/glow] Re: MONTHLY MEETING [SEPTEMBER 2020] - roan ; - 09-08-2020 SOOTHSAYER ❝ ROAN ❞ THE TYPHOON
At first, Roan had thought Hani and Alani to be only odd. The pair was unusual, and they set him on edge, but he had no true reason to worry about them. Elysium was small, and had practically been forgotten about before they had taken over. He had his doubts that the group would ever truly bounce back, especially when former members such as Diya were so eager to leave the place. With all of this in mind, Roan paid the pair little mind, figuring that, if there was truly anything important to discuss involving The Typhoon and Elysium, his mother would get to it. Unfortunately, the new leaders decided to cross a line, one that caused Roan's blood to warm and his jaw to set. The Typhoon had lost more than enough as of late in the form of Sam and Jaime. They didn't need some ridiculous two headed mongrel trying to lay claim to a member that had come to them. Besides that, the soothsayer knew that Diya made his mother happy, and that pleased feeling went both ways. There was no reason to separate them, save for Hani and Alani being greedy, and believing they had the rights to direct the vampire's life.
At the edge of his mind, Roan was faintly aware of the fact that Vigenere had responded to his words, but that particular matter had already been tossed aside. The medic didn't think highly of Vig, and the other being all hissing and bluster wouldn't change that, especially if the feline just proved to get himself captured or injured once again. Instead, the draconic feline directed his attention solely on Hani and Alani, his blue gaze cutting sharply towards the pair. He was aware that his mama was more than capable of answering herself, but he couldn't help the way his wings shifted outwards, and the fur on the back of his neck spiked up. He said firmly, gaze narrowed and body alight with energy as he answered them, "Diya is not one of your own. She made the decision to officially join The Typhoon, and as far as I know, had no intentions of having a dual alliance. So trust me, she is already more than home." His words were soft and quick, not brought out as a full on snarl or hiss. Despite this, the threatening nature behind them was clear, especially with the energy seeming to crackle behind the soothsayer's gaze. Re: MONTHLY MEETING [SEPTEMBER 2020] - kinglykingstone - 09-11-2020
A smirk sat on silver maw, watching the Soothsayer with interest. They knee from introductions that Roan was not a leader but, based upon the horns resting on the medics head and the wings hanging from his back, most likely relations to the stand-in for the Typhoons leader. Blue eyes studied the Typhooner with interest, thinking through what he wanted to say. If he couldn't simply get them to hand over the vampire, he could at least instil some type of uncertainty. "Do you really think she holds loyalty to you? Think of how quickly and easily she fled The Elysium; the home of her family, where some of her family still remains. How do you know she would not do the same to you? She has done it once before, has she not?" he spoke, both heads giving the members of the Typhoon a knowing look. It was lucky they had such information, mentions if visits and such coming from the brother's own members. Alani'sgreen eyes scanned over Roan this time, watching the power that seemed to crackle under the draconic feline's fur. Surely he wouldn't launch an attack here? HAVE YOU SEEN MY SISTER EVELYN? Re: MONTHLY MEETING [SEPTEMBER 2020] - ROXANNE R. - 09-11-2020 me dejaste, me dejaste en un tango
Roxanne felt a frown on her maw listening to everything happening around her, her whiskers twitching lightly and glanced over in the direction of Roan hearing the tone he had been taking with Vigenere though she didn't scold her son. She held no respect for the Tanglewood Visionary and it seemed like the male was more concerned about the whereabouts of his own brother rather than what was currently at paw. Her tail lashed to the sides in an impatient form of matter only to turn her attention to the two headed individual who was now leader of the Elysium, she could feel the fur on her spine beginning to prickle listening to them speak. Something about them... Irked her and she didn't know why.
That's until they spoke once more claiming that they should hand over Diya like she was theirs but they were wrong. Dead wrong. Diya did not belong to the Elysium but to her and the Typhoon. When Roan spoke, Roxanne bit down on her tongue deciding that enough had been said yet Hani and Alani chose to speak once more. This definitely caused Roxanne to grow even more tense than she had been before only to speak as she rose to her paws "She chose to leave and become part of the Typhoon. She has a new family who loves her just as much and if she wishes to visit the Elysium, her old home, she may. Besides, it isn't a two headed son of a bitch to make decisions for her. She can make her own so fuck off," She would brush down the fur on her chest only to nod slowly to the rest of the leaders, Roxanne would narrow her eyes at the Elysium leader once more "Now... If you will stop acting like a greedy child demanding things to go their way. I wish to continue this meeting and I'm sure everyone would to." Re: MONTHLY MEETING [SEPTEMBER 2020] - roan ; - 09-13-2020 SOOTHSAYER ❝ ROAN ❞ THE TYPHOON
In most cases, Roan was a voice of reason. He was rational and patient, and he tried to avoid conflict as much as possible, mainly because he had seen the harsh effects he could have firsthand. After all, why would a medic want to have more injuries out in the world? However, this was only the majority of the time. The majority of the time, no one was threatening those that he considered family, or trying to sow doubt in their interactions and happiness. This was the minority of the time, and Roan could feel the anger bubbling up inside of him in response. Perhaps his short fuse was because of Jaime's passing, or perhaps it was a mixture of that and the fact that he now considered Diya to be family. While he had originally been uneasy about the relationship between she and his mama, it had become clear that they made each other happy, and he had come to approve of it. He didn't want her going anywhere, and he certainly didn't want some rando that had decided to crash the gathering trying to act like they knew her. They didn't, and he knew it. She'd never mentioned them, and he hadn't even seen them before now, despite having interacted with Elysites in the past.
All of this added up to the soothsayer finally just... snapping. He had made a valiant effort not to cause any sort of scene – despite the clear hostility in his prior warning – but Hani and Alani's haughty natures were the final straw. He barely realized what he was doing before he stepped forward, power crackling through the air as he aimed to launch an arcing bolt of lightning forth from himself, trying to carve a path over [member=16141]hani and alani.[/member]'s shoulder and down their spine. Whether or not he was successful, he would still grit out in a snarl, claws out, "Don't you dare talk about Diya that way. She chose to join The Typhoon, because Elysium wasn't good enough. And just because some random two-headed assholes decided to take over doesn't change that fact. So, kindly fuck off, or there will be more where that came from." The male couldn't even begin to imagine the scolding he would get from his mama after this, but he found he didn't much care. Hani and Alani deserved it, and Diya also deserved to have her name not be dragged through the mud, especially considering she couldn't even be present to defend herself. Re: MONTHLY MEETING [SEPTEMBER 2020] - gael - 09-14-2020 [align=center] ♛ GAEL Ó BROIN The vulpine fell quiet as he regarded the others, listening with care. Vigenere must have a personal issue with Caesar then, he decided for certain -- of course, as the others confirmed the rotten apple's status among their own groups, it made sense. He had a certain flair for trouble, it seemed.Truthfully, Gael did not think much of the lemon connard, as his daughter put it -- it would certainly be his pleasure to drain the air out of his lungs should he try anything. In the end, the faerie simply did not view him as an active threat to the Pitt; he'd been so easily humiliated by Trygve when the boy had only been a cub after all. "I will acknowledge that Caesar is trouble but I am hardly intimidated by him. Should he go anywhere near the Pitt, he'll pay the consequences in full." The vulpine felt his brows crease as a source of discourse began between the pirates and Elysites; unamused. It seemed to him, whoever Diya was, made her choice -- end of discussion. Childish, indeed. He remained otherwise silent, until his cousin's son stepped forward in a charged motion of fury. "Roan." "Must I iterate again; this is peaceful gathering -- enough of this." The Ardent would not hesitate to step in between the pirates and Elysites if necessary -- the wind at his call. Coldly, Gael narrowed his golden eyes on Hani, Alani, and Roan. "It is not the place of a new leader, who has clearly not even met this Diya, to demand her return -- she has obviously made her choice known to her new clanmates. Nor is it yours, a healer, to incite violence in a neutral place. You are better than that." "I AM A STONE" —-- gael ó broin / faerie / ardent / lamby Re: MONTHLY MEETING [SEPTEMBER 2020] - VIGENERE CIPHER. - 09-14-2020 [glow=white,1,400]LYING THROUGH YOUR TEETH AGAIN ! — 。+゚.[/glow]
Should Vigenere have heard the other leaders' thoughts on his brother, he likely would have been offended. Caesar was a force to trifle with, should he use his full strength. Of course, it may be entirely possible that Caesar simply had no power in this world, given how the place hasn't been ruined yet; but still, the others seemed to disregard Caesar as if he were a fly and that was rather concerning in Vigenere's eyes. Then again, He had to remind himself. Not everyone knows what he did to our home. Perhaps it was better that way; Vigenere knew that Caesar mostly liked having people fear him and if others were truly shrugging them off as they seemed to, then maybe that was a good thing (even if Caesar was personally offended by it). After all, the demon didn't like being made fun of, as evident by the fact that everything Vigenere and Atbash had been through was solely because of Caesar throwing a tantrum. But Caesar was not here and clearly, not among the other groups. As worrying as that sounded, it did put Vigenere at ease somewhat. At least it meant that Caesar wasn't going to destroy a group from the inside out - and perhaps that was also why others seem to disregard him; but what did the Luminary know? Nothing. The savannah was forced out of his thoughts as an argument broke out between Roxanne and the new leader of The Elysium - the crackling in the air sparking a familiar sensation within Vigenere. In an attempt to protect [member=16141]hani and alani.[/member] , Vigenere tried to direct Roan's bolt of lightning elsewhere. Regardless if he were successful or not, the demon glared at Roan. Using powers weren't necessary at all and while the savannah hated using his powers unless he absolutely had to - he considered his attempt at deflecting Roan's attack as 'important', since he was trying to protect the Elysium leaders. Gael was right; this was a peaceful gathering and although he had a personal gripe with The Pitt (as evident by his first reaction to Gael), he knew it was better than starting a fight here.[glow=COLOR,1,400] ━ ✧*:・゚[/glow] Re: MONTHLY MEETING [SEPTEMBER 2020] - VALE - 09-14-2020
“Listen here, you little shit,” Vale huffed, puffing out a blue flame. Zir tongue lolled out of zir mouth, dripping saliva as the muscle twitched, lengthening and splitting down the middle. “Ah, that’s better.” Zir eyes melted, wet squish falling down zir face. The eye sockets themselves changed, shrinking, then replicated over zir skull. Ten red eyes glared down at the two-headed feline, and the jaguar stalked towards the grey and orange tabby. Zir tail cracked and popped, splitting into two, three, four, all the way up to nine tails. “You demand this Diya because she abandoned the Elysium, you say?” Vale hissed, forked tongue spitting fire. “You heard me say, not a moment ago, that I abandoned the Ascendants right around when they became Elysium. Yet you do not ask Gael to turn me over. Or for me to return, personally, which would be far more polite.” The melanistic feline slipped past the other angry animals. One by one, Vale’s fangs fell out of zir mouth, clattering at zir paws. Vale did not notice. Tiny little shark teeth grew one by one, row by row, in Vale’s gaping maw. Blood stained each tooth, running out of Vale’s lips and dripping on the ground. “You know what I infer from this behavior? You took one look at me and understood you couldn’t hope to get your hooks into my head, so you tried an alternate strategy.” Vale smirked, the right corner of zir bleeding mouth twitched up in a smile, the other corner a frown. “You told me exactly what I wanted to hear, I can see that now. Oh, you should’ve stopped your con there. Should’ve. Could’ve. Would’ve.” Vale stopped in front of Hani and Alani, bending zir knees to be on eye level. Five eyes watched Hani. Five eyes stared down Alani. Heat radiated off Vale’s body, and the flesh would be too hot to touch. In truth, ze couldn’t maintain this heavily mutated form much longer, but anger pushed out the headache and chills rolling over every muscle. “I. See. You. And if there is one thing I do not abide, it is inauthenticity.” Rips opened in Vale’s back, revealing white vertebrae and oozing black sludge. Zir fur shivered, beginning to peel away from the burning muscle beneath. “You try manipulating me again, and you will have far worse than lightning lobbed at you. Because, I? I will do far worse than give you a clean death.” pittian ★ heavily mutated panther ★ literally chaos [sup]template made by tikki[/sup]Re: MONTHLY MEETING [SEPTEMBER 2020] - kinglykingstone - 09-16-2020
Foolish were the duo, unaware of how their simple attempt at an annoyance would end so poorly for them. New to leading, they were unaware that old tactics would need to fall away quickly. Annoyance would flicker in Hani's expression as Roxanne spoke, replaced by panic as the Roux launched a bolt at them, eyes watching as it suddenly jerked away. Overwhelming was the ensuing chaos, never given a moment to thank Vigenere for saving their fur. Maws opened in unison to speak, cur off by the shapeshifter speaking. Would they never be able to get a word in edgewise? Fear filled the dual-headed feline as they slowly stepped backwards, watching the advancing beast. Confusion quickly followed, shoving its head through the thick fear. Eyes glanced at the others gathered, knowing they would not recieve help. All four eyes returned to the mutated jaguar before them, words escaping them. 'You try manipulating me again,' Again? They'd hardly spoken to the creature, hadn't even considered them a conteder. Manipulative was the two headed feline, but they hadn't even considered taking such tactics with Vale. "We hardly spoke to you," spat Hani, snarling at the false accusation. "You were hardly a consideration in our minds, frankly. We had informed you of the state of the group after you mentioned it, never even requesting your presence within our borders." Perhaps speaking back at the mutated beast was a foolish idea but, they were not ones to take easily to being talked down too. "If you wish to talk down to us, at least use reason." With a jaded past and an odd turn of phrase and speak: it put many on edge to be near them. But it was the duo that took the reins of the clan, out of anyone els's paws and Hebi respected the feline, no matter the flack- at least one of them owned up to controlling the lands of one of the four clans that held such amounts of territory. Threats were thrown, and the jaguar lept from his perch. Startling another feline- smaller and smelling of sand [glow=black,2,300]Jack[/glow], and instead turned his attention towards the shapeshifter that shivered and quaked with disgusting waves of blood and gore dripping from the pittian, anger burning all ten eyes. "stand back." the was a threat leveled in his tone, such hard command was meant as a promise and would be delivered as such if need be. silver eyes never faltering at the sight of the other creature threatening his leader. He felt the calm motion of earth underneath his paws, the stead shift that never went noticed by any at all. Slowly the Jaguar felt the earth under them, felt it rising to his call, and waited for the hairs breath the stranger stepped out of line to unleash it. If vale moved to make an attack then stone would shoot out from the earth- aiming to catch their neck in a collar and drag it down till their face was crushed uncomfortably in the ground almost as if to kneel before a twisted king of their leader. |
